Ohmygod. I laughed so hard. That is brilliant. Terrible and classless but brilliant.

Becca, ahahah I know right. Imagine 20 years down the line and your grandkids ask you how you and grandad met. Well the first thing they said to me was *insert the pickup line here*... and the rest is history.

My American friend just informed me that the UK isn't overseas from China, India and Pakistan. Don't know why I didn't see it before. Apparently we're connected by a strip of land.

And after learning this I facepalmed so hard I nearly broke my fu.cking nose.

Is this the same guy/girl who accused you of being non-patriotic for not celebrating Thanksgiving?

What's the world coming to?

Does anyone have any experience with huge posters? I bought a 4' x 4' Tusk poster in September and I have no idea what to do with it. I don't want to hang it up with tacks because our youngest cat likes to rip posters.

We called a few framing stores and a frame would cost around $150-200+. For those with large photos/posters, did you just buy a frame? Could I make a frame (or something similar to protect it) or should I get over it and buy one?

Not particularly. I mentioned that the top two most popular trends on Twitter at the moment are Margaret Thatcher and Purple Rain (I would LOVE to know what these tweets are about to link the two ) and she asked who Margaret Thatcher was O_o. Here's me believing she was universally unpopular.

I love the fact that Thatcher was trending on Twitter, and the first thing DianaInHeaven (A really vile, but hilarious parody account) posts is "She is not here."

My parents well love her though, mainly cause they were just starting in the police force when she became prime minister and they got huge pay rises

I could, but the lighting in my room is horrible so it would be hard to see.

Awful few days, My mom and stepdad have split up after almost fourteen years and it's far from amicable.

I'm sorry. That must be especially horrible during the holidays.

Yeah it's a bit sh*t, 2011 has been a terrible year I just want it to end. Life goes on though and I have all the faith in the world that 2012 will be much better x

I just visited the first Cat I re-homed through Facebook at her new home today. She's found her purr again. I'm so happy. She was an absolute wallflower who didn't get along with the other Cats, but having a human to herself has really brought her out of her shell.
