Hey MacFan...when shopping with the whole family when I was a teen, about 14 yrs old..I saw the the number code to the store wide intercom speakers...I flipped out my grand mother by paging..."Can I get a clerk from domestics to do a price check...Maize Ford to domestics"

Employees paged, after the 9 page..."clear the overhead speakers..."

I was such a wiseguy!

Ie: what is the meaning of this thread, huh?, I 2nd that, I 3rd, that...
I could be misunderstanding you (again)... but you specifically asked why no one replied to your thread... so I explained that, for me, part of what you said didn't make any sense; which is why I didn't originally reply when I read this thread. Stream of consciousness is rather difficult to understand sometimes ya know.

I am so glad that you were in Kohl's in some city in Massachusetts and Secret Love was playing on the sound system. But what makes me even happier is that over 500 people have viewed this incredible thread.

Viv I laugh at your dead pan hilarious responses to coneheads like me...crying out for love, if you will....

Its like being on the Gong Show...old TV Show...and what I say and do and write makes perfect sense to me...but like my little demon said, streams of conscious can be hard to piece together.

Kind of like, No spoken word...no small command...what was it she wants...they said she had everything....come around tonight indecent....aaaaaaah haaaaa...Let's make a deal here. Ooh.LET'S MAKE A DEAL!

Thank you for making me laugh...I feel that I am touched by Royalty. I mean it...heartfelt gratitude...and making no sense again because I am laughing.

In downtown Boston, at Downtown Crossing there was a famous store named, Filenes and on the basement level you would get crushed by excited women...I gotta explain...wedding dress sale at Filenes Basement...any female from miles around would go to this once a year sale and get top designers like, Halston and Mackey were so sought after...anyway, I was a kid in the 70s and my Aunt took me...wild women grabbing and fighting...through a sea of beehives, and the scent of Aqua Net...you would hear, "...well, I will get this one if I decide to be attracted to guys" "...this will look great for my wedding...and I can wear this when I get a divorce and marry some old bastard for a couple of his oil wells...etc...

It is savage and very riot like...

Imagine the PA being hijacked...I saw something like this on Bewitched.

Ladies...rush over here...200% off...

Hmmmm... There I go again! Sorry.

We had a Filenes in the mall in the next town over.My sister used to shop there all the time until Kohl's came to town.Talking about PA systems.Maybe I hijack the local Walmart for promoting Stevie's IYD will make a nice holiday gift this holiday.Nah I dont want to get busted for doing it.Also they probably dont have any IYD cd's in stock in the meantime.

Man, So good to hear from you buddy! I wrote a whole story about the amazing group, Super Bostonians. Ha. Anyway as I was writing a piece about everybody...it was too long for the thread on my phone.

The sad part is it was lost.

The good part is that I pulled such fun to my memory...

Do you remember me pranking everybody with, Hi, This is, (you know who)

And the final cap was getting to watch Stevies all night long.

Call you soon
jim
