i freaking LOVE this interview.
you know, a lot of people ... and even me sometimes think Stevie lives in her own lil fantasy bubble of a world, but she actually seems very worldly and knowledgeable about everything.

i would be there in 2 seconds if she did an exhibition of all her clothes .......

I, too, thought that was interesting. What I interpret from this quote is that, while she is capable of falsetto singing, when she's on tour she has to conserve her voice, so she avoids those high parts.

I was also interested in the question/answer about 'I Can't Wait.' I agree with her thoughts that the song was butchered on the Rock A Little tour. From the recordings I have heard, Stevie seemed to get lost in the song, missing cues, forgetting lyrics, etc. I know nothing about the loops she was referencing. The band seemed to be playing it just fine.

LOL! Here I am! I was waiting to see if anyone else responded and then I toyed with the idea of sparing everyone my thought of "gee, I wonder what the last fight she had with Lindsey was about -- and when???"

I have to go listen to the Katy Perry voice over again....

I love how Stevie uses the word "fantastic" so much lately. Maybe someone told her to stop saying "cool" so much?

What struck me as odd is that she recalls playing that song on the entire RAL tour as one time. It's confusing.

That's the thing. I don't think she meant the last fight they had in 1987, because they have probably had a couple in the last few months. In fact, Mick acts like he has fought with Stevie recently. He seems a little huffy which is unusual for our British diplomat. I'm thinking she had a fight with Lindsey recently that made her think she wishes she could go back and change one day in time?? That day would probably be the day she sang your username with him.

She wishes she had never entered into that Christian Youth gathering and never met the guy!

Wonder if Mick's frustration is with the fact that without Stevie the rest of the band can't really do anything (as FMac) ... he's commented recently that nowadays she pretty much holds the cards to any band projects and she's wanting to continue working this album/tour as long as she can....

Last week, last month, last year, last tour, last album, last decade....I'm sure that sums it all up.

Just from that interview, it seems like Stevie was more moved by the video concept than the words of the song or voice over. Michele

I agree. It must've been that time Lindsey drove off a cliff in a huff.

Its easy to see how Stevie would draw comparisons to her relationship with Lindsey from the video. I'm glad the interviewer asked Stevie about it. I love her voiceover and the trailer more than the video itself.

Default Katy Perry Brings Stevie Nicks to Tears

"The past is like a handful of dust, it filters through your fingers disappearing little by little." So goes Stevie Nicks' narration to the video for Katy Perry's latest single 'The One That Got Away.'

If that sounds depressing, that's because it is -- most especially for Nicks herself. According to Jam, the singer broke down in tears because the song reminded her of her lost love with former bandmate Lindsey Buckingham.

"About a minute in, I just began to cry. It reminded me of my own life and losses, and of the last fight that Lindsey Buckingham and I had," Nicks said of her experience the first time she saw the video.

The clip centers around an elderly woman looking back on a past relationship. For Nicks, the current state of affairs with her past flame are bittersweet. Both Nicks and Buckingham just dropped solo albums: Nicks' seventh studio album, 'In Your Dreams,' was released in May while Buckingham's 'Seeds We Sow' was released in September. The possibility of a reunion seems likely, but is still up in the air.

"Yes, Fleetwood Mac will do something in the future" Buckingham said of the band's reunion to NME. "There's just nothing on the books right now. This is a time for me to take stock all of the things I've done in my life, all the people I've been down the road with, and all the things I've experienced and just appreciate them. When you revisit them, you want all of these things to be in a place where they have dignity."

Until then, the unhealthy intra-band romances will just have to remain a cherished thing of the past.
