Well, Stevie has a man who holds her around the waist when she's shaking hands with the crowd. He anchors her and makes sure that she doesn't get pulled in. We need to get one of those men for Lindsey, when he heads overseas.

I don't think there looks like a lot of age difference either, but I know that's because the younger picture is a close up and the one in which he is older is taken from farther back, so the age lines are not apparent. As a result, the difference in his face to me is minimal.

I'm agreeing with you all about him looking not much older in the second pic. It has a lot to do with him being blessed with really incredible facial bone structure though. I already addressed it in the New York thread, but he seems to retain that gorgeous appeal because he has a very defined facial structure and that's just sexy to me.

That's one of the reasons I like him thin. When he has gained weight, as in 1982 and 1997, then his jaw and cheek lines were less defined and he lost that incredible look, which is most remarkable because it fits his personality: cutting edge (or should I say cutting and edgy), penetrating. I think his eyes, facial structure and hair all express his temperament and I don't think that's true for most people. I don't think physical characteristics represent personality traits as squarely as his do. I love images of him from the back, in profile, in shadow, because they often say "Lindsey" to me just as loudly as if he'd opened his mouth and introduced himself. Michele
