Default LB in Lorain: flawless, incredible, making your faves jealous!!!!!!

Ok, I was so stoked that I waited until the WEEK prior to buy tickets to this show because my seats were fabulous, which I didn't expect. But of course I'm not complaining! This show was simply amazing. I can't even...look, I've seen Lindsey live many times and every time I am left speechless and mind-blown, but this was something else altogether.

Typically, I have found that people from Ohio really LOVE Lindsey. or at least every show that I have seen LB or FM in Ohio in has been incredible. I guess people from Ohio just love to rock out at concerts- maybe all the mid-west humdrum-ness rebelling in an awesome way. Any way you want to describe it, the audience was a wild and crazy fun one!

Lindsey walked out and people were already shouting, "You're a genius!!" "I LOVE YOU!!!" "Oh baby!!" It was so awesome. He actually tried to sssshhhhh people because, you know, he had to start "Shut Us Down." Which was SO perfect, OMG. People were giving him a standing ovation even after the first song (myself included of course).

I'm really bad at going through the whole set-list of stuff because, you know, I leave things out or I forget some details...but I was sitting next to this guy who had never seen LB live before and he kept saying how amazing and awesome he was after each song. Like, right before LB started "Go Insane" he asked me what song it was- and afterward he was just... Yeah, pretty much dude.

Anyway, the entire acoustic set was marvelous. Even the typical drawn-out NGBA sounded so...perfect? Like, I can't complain about ANYTHING...he was on fire x 400 up there, and loving all the adulation. He was eating it all up, but in a very humble way- or maybe semi-humble...but still, he deserved ALL of it.

I want to say that, although I definitely started dancing during "In Your Own Time" in Pittsburgh, as loud and into it as this crowd was, I wasn't in the position to begin dancing until "Second Hand News". My seats were the section 4 row B and so that was the far left, second row but MAN they were great seats. There were a ton of people sitting sort of diagonally behind me so I was a little apprehensive about dancing. But Brett kept winking at me since I was getting jittery (meaning I was sort of "seat dancing")- and I am always a dancer at LB's shows and Brett knows it. So when I got up to dance there was me and another young woman from my section (don't know her, but we totally gave each other the "get it girl" eye while dancing) and then a bunch of very provocatively dressed ladies in the front row center (Go on girls!) and then some other women in the far right section. Maybe there were a couple guys, but it was mainly women I saw dancing to be quite honest. It looked like LB had suddenly turned into a old version of Justin Bieber in a smaller setting. All these women bringing the love! He was LOVING it. I remember when the woman kept saying "I LOVE YOU!!!" and LB was like, "Well, it's good to know your...faithful..." He was SO cute. SO cute.

Oh and there was something a lot less "rehearsed" about the speeches. Yes, they were the same but he seemed to improvise with the state of the audience, who were sort of hanging on every word. Like he mentioned his new album and I shouted "YEAH BB!!!" (you all know I fangirl for SWS by now so what's new?) and then, well, let's just say everyone was hanging on his every word.

So back to when people started to when we all came up to the stage. It was during "Tusk" that a security guard brought two girls from the back to the front and started to motion for people to get up to the front and have fun! HELL YEAH OHIO CROWDS!!! It got crazy, it got loud, it got sooooooooo amazing. Lindsey was just on FIRE!!!

And I somehow ended up in the front center, with my very high stacked black seude Stevie boots. I felt bad since I was so tall with them, but then I realized it was all relative to my actual height: which isn't all that tall and so no one seemed to care. In fact, it was awesome. This one couple who drove 12 hours to see LB, the lady shouted "You're the greatest guitar player ever" during LB's speech (right on girl!). I screamed all kinds of pleasantries about his amazing-ness along with some other people- many of them females, and he gave us a LOT of eye contact. In fact, during the entire "End Of Time" and "treason" performances I was singing along (because I know all the words to every song of his, lol, like most of you but I was so obvious about it I guess) and LB smiled at me like a lot. He has such intense eyes, but he was in such a GREAT mood. He kept laughing.

At one point during "Go Your Own Way" he went a little stomp/run/walk crazy towards the end while doing his solo and he almost tripped. It was funny because he just looked at Brett who was laughing at him. Wonder if it's happened a lot?

I don't know how to conclude this other than to say the ENTIRE show was magnificent and flaw-free. LB was/is simply one of the best live shows you can see for your money, if not in the top 5. He was SO amazing and had the energy of a child. His voice was stunning, his playing was...well, you know. And to the person who said that SWS has no sing-along songs: you should have been there Sunday night because EVERYONE was singing along to TTWLG and EOT. Everyone was going wild.

After the show, sushud82, the gentleman sitting next to me, and I went to the van and we saw Brett, Neale, and LB get on. I spoke to Brett and got pics with him, as we know each other (such a sweet guy!). But LB sort of just went on wearing his long wool coat. There were some inappropriate and rude "fans" who were voicing their feelings about LB "snubbing" them by shouting "BYE STEVIE" and making all kinds of dumbass Stevie comments. Dear idiots, he just put on a mind-blowing show for you. And you're complaining about not getting an autograph when the man, who is OVER 60, needs to rest? Shut your mouth and go cry in a corner. Not necessary.

Anyway, I've got pics to share- and some video!!! Yay!! I'll hook you all up later. Thanks to everyone I met. Sushud82 is so sweet. And Caroline, I'm so sad. Next time girl. So glad you were there though!!!!
