If it says "ailment", I'd guess it's her Epstein Barr virus. I haven't really heard of any other ailments plaguing her besides that one. But at her age, she could have any number of illnesses we do not yet know about.

I have to wonder if she really ever had Epstein Barr. I'm guessing the actual culprit was Klonopin.

The queen of rock ‘n’ roll, Stevie Nicks, has a medical problem that's making her feel less than majestic.

“Why is my one eye always watering?” Stevie asks. “I call it ‘the sorrowful disease,’ because people always ask me if I’m sad.

Oh my goodness. There is something really hilarious about this. She might as well have gone on and talked about her restless leg syndrome.

I do get this one eye watering thing when I have a cold or eye infection, but man, now I have to accept when I saw her crying during Silver Springs it only meant she needed Claritin. Darn.

It just aired. Stevie doesn't appear in-studio and the segment is about 9o seconds. The footage is actually from the red carpet of E.T.'s Emmy post party. Stevie mentions that she has one eye that waters. Two of the doctors say they just saw her in concert and that she was amazing, which earns audience applause. Then they offer their expert opinions that one eye watering might be "allergies," cosmetics or a minor abrasion and that eyes are precious.
They don't offer anything more than simple common sense padded with stating the obvious. And WebMD.com has more personality than all the doctors combined.

Oh, my goodness. Dear Abby offers better hard info than that.

Now, all the sentiment has been stolen from her songs. Instead, of her eyes being a window into her soul, I'm going to remember that one of 'em is just plain wonky.

Look in my eyes, touch my face . . .

One tear, slid across her lips...

(from that wonky eye, no doubt)

Baby you could never look me in the eye...

Well, I guess that's why her eye makeup has always been dark and careless.
