Awww, thank you so much.

I'm much more of a demo person that a live shows person, so I don't have any full tours saved or I'd be happy to help.

I consider "Take 1" to be the Cleaning Lady version that is available on the Tusk 2004 release.

Here are the others:

"Sara" - Take 2 Album Vocal/Alternate Mix

"Sara" - Take 3 Outtake

Wow... I mean, wow! I've heard so many different versions of Sara but never this one (take 2). I'm so amazed by this. Thank you so much. I love it. It's very ambient and beautiful. It seems like it was made mostly so Lindsey could really listen to his guitar work rather than as a possible mix for the album. But as wild as Tusk was in places it very well could have been released like this. It's very pretty. I can't thank you enough for sharing this.

I just realized something. There's an outtake from the Tusk doc where they're listening to a mixdown of Sara and I think it's this one!!! I remember thinking that it sounded more like the album cut but I was surprised to hear the "dreaming... and the wind became... crazy" in it and I always wondered if there was a full recording of it. How awesome.

Oh, I'm so happy this was new and different and exciting for you!!!!!!

It is from one of Maureen's cassettes that we had transfered to CD in 2005. I'm sure she made copies all over the world, too, but I never see it circulating. This is why I think people should go through their Maureen CDs & cassettes~ just to see if there are any wonderful Stevie gems hidden in them!

Something just occurred to me. One of the most famous lines from Sara is "All I ever wanted was to know that you were dreaming" yet that line grew in fame not from the album version or the single but from the live performances and the Cleaning Lady bootleg. I'm sure the part in the Tusk doc where she sings it with huge tears in her eyes bathed in beautiful red light probably also had something to do with it, I know that's where it first embedded itself into my mind. But I just realized that you never really hear the entire line in the studio mix of the song, yet you wouldn't think of hearing a live version without it.

I'm still praying that one day a crystal clear copy of the Uncirculated Rumors version of Castaway will surface. The one with the keyboard and the overdubs. It's still my favorite out of all of them and the only one we have sounds like it was made from a cassette that had been sitting at the bottom of a fishtank for three years.

Agreed on that version of "Castaway"! It's the one I sing in my head whenever I think of "Castaway", no matter how many more pop up.

Also on my very short list of must-haves:

"Thousand Days" - Rock A Little outtake
"I Call You Missing" - Rock A Little outtake
"Tragedy Of One's Own Soul" - The Other Side Of The Mirror outtake

If those three, plus "Castaway", could be upgraded into perfection status, I think I might be satisfied.

Well, Castaway is my ultimate dream track. But if I could have another, one where I could be totally nitpicky about, I'd love the version of Gypsy from The Chain box set, which is like mega-extended, but with the missing Stevie vocals that appear in the video version. But I know that's totally nitpicking. LOL

Does anyone have all of Stevie's songs from Detroit 1982? I just have "Rhiannon", which I know I DL-ed from here, but not sure why only "Rhiannon".

I have Dallas '78, but nothing from the Tusk tour. Also, are you still looking for Dallas '86?

I got Dallas 1986 in the Rock A Little tour thread, but Dallas 1978 would be GREAT! Thanks, Lisa!!!

I used to have Dallas 1982 on cassette (Stevie dedicated "Landslide" to her brother, Christopher)~ do you have that show, too?

Also need Dallas 1994, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2005~ if anyone has them!
