Since its Sunday and evening hours you should be able to park off-street with no problems (at least not from the city anyway).

Their website shows which lots you can park in after 5 pm as well: http://www.lorainpalace.com/content.aspx?PID=150

Hopefully it won't be an issue for anyone!

[Just the same stuff. One interview that they all draw from]

FLYING SOLO TO LORAIN: Lindsey Buckingham, continuing tour without Fleetwood Mac, says he’s having the time of his life
Published: Friday, November 04, 2011

Though Fleetwood Mac rose to fame in the swinging 1970s, the group’s legendary leading guitarist-singer Lindsey Buckingham said he’s still having the time of his life as he embarked on his latest solo tour that takes him to the Lorain Palace Sunday.

The 61-year-old musician, who earned a spot in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with Fleetwood Mac, won countless awards and defined the sound of rock for the last three decades, said in recent interview he is at a “creative and personal peak” — and one supports the other.

He said he thanks his happy home life with wife Kristen and their three young children for enabling him to enjoy the 2009 reunion tour with Fleetwood Mac and to create some of his best work yet, which he released in September as his sixth solo album, “Seeds We Sow.”

As he was preparing for this solo tour, which began in September, he talked to the Associated Press about the new album, Fleetwood Mac as a whole and what the future might hold.

As for the inspiration of his new album, “It wasn’t any one thing that inspired it,” Buckingham said. “Normally there’s kind of a calling.

“In the case of this one, Fleetwood Mac had just come off the road, and I thought we’d do some more dates.

“There was no agenda to make an album, no agenda to express anything in particular, but the time opened up as a surprise, and I thought I guess I better fill it.”

His best yet

However, Buckingham said this new album might be his best musical work, yet.

“When I’m working with Fleetwood Mac, it’s more like moviemaking. It’s collaborative, and you have to bring in something like a full-on song, which would be like the analogy of the script,” he explained. “It’s a more political process.

“When you work alone, it’s more like painting. You go down to the studio, and you’ve got this sort of one-on-one with the canvas. You’ve got the freedom of not necessarily having a full-on song. You can have a rough idea and you make a start. It’s like a painter throwing colors on the canvas — at some point, they’ll paint over some part, but the work starts to take on a life of its own and lead you in a direction you might not have expected to go. There are many more surprises that happen when I’m doing solo work.”

For the album, Buckingham not only wrote and performed the music, he mixed and engineered the entire album. “Basically, you kind of grow into all that,” he said about the challenges of wearing so many hats. “It’s all my own sense of how to do things. It always has been — how to teach myself how to play guitar, how to teach myself to write or sing, how to teach myself to record.

“Because I don’t really know music.

“I mean I do, from a certain center, but not from an academic point. I think a lot of people who get taught try to get back to the place I’m at, but I think of myself as kind of a refined primitive.”

Still likes Fleetwood Mac

His current solo tour is not to suggest he was unhappy with his 2009 tour, which marked a milestone reunion with the enter Fleetwood Mac band. “I keep feeling like the Fleetwood Mac experience ... seems like it keeps getting better for me.” Buckingham said.

“That’s just a reflection of how things have gotten better for me personally as a solo artist and just in my personal life, and I can bring all that back and appreciate all the nuances of Fleetwood Mac and add to the mix in a very communal and supportive way.”

The band’s biggest album, “Rumours,” was partially about Buckingham’s breakup with Stevie Nicks. But his relationship with her now is hardly adversarial. “I’ve known (Stevie) since high school,” he said. “I spent some time with her when she was finishing up her solo album and mine was already done. We worked on some stuff together and had some real quality time.

“And all these years later, that there’s still some chapters to unfold with the two of us seems just to be the sweetest thing.

When Buckingham’s tour ends after this month, a lot of things will be up in the air.

“There’s a certain amount of ... I wouldn’t say chaos ... but a certain amount of the unknown that you’ve got to allow for if you’re going back and forth from one to the other (solo work to Fleetwood Mac).

“There’s been a lot of talk about a Fleetwood Mac tour next year, possibly even a Fleetwood Mac album. I think it would be fun to maybe find a producer other than myself, just to make it easier for me and someone who could overview the situation in a healthy way so we could enjoy each other as band mates a little more.

“So I’ve heard a lot of rumblings about that, but nothing’s been written. There’s nothing on the books for Fleetwood Mac next year, but I would be shocked if that didn’t happen at some point.”

It's not too bad, depending on how well the show sold and how early you get there. There is some parking on the road next to the theater and then some parking lots right around it down some side streets.

If your going south on Broadway and make a right at the light right before the palace there is a parking lot (I think lot 6, that's right by a church) that I plan on parking in. I also plan to get there about an hour and a half before the show starts.

EDIT: Anyone know what time the doors open and what the camera/video policy is?

according to all the tweets during and after the show, plus all great videos, this show was something else... don't know how but apparently LB + the band are still getting more and more amazing with each show - can't wait to read the reviews of people who were there!!

here is video of Turn it On with the "edge walk" / hand shakes and some guy yelling "you rock dude!" -

also, bunch more vids from Cleveland show on this guy's youtube channel.

The show was super amazing! I'm glad this guy got video! I'm not proficient with video and only have a big honking camera that I'm pretty sure is frowned upon at shows.

I was blown away (per usual). After the disappointing Pittsburgh show (not Lindsey, but the audience and security) this was a welcome change of pace! The audience gave standing ovations after almost every song and once the coast was clear the front of the stage was packed. The head security guy actually yelled at another security guy for trying to make people go back to their seats. Finally getting on the same page I think!

I won't go over the songs because it was the same speeches and same setlist, but I loved his interactions with the crowd! Example: A woman yelled "I LOVE YOU LINDSEY" His response: "I love you, too." Another woman yelled "I love you more!" and he said "I'm liking this. Let's all meet up after the show."

When the same woman yelled out her love to him later he paused, seraching for a comeback and said, "Well...I'm glad you're staying faithful."

I was fortunate to get up to the front of the stage and get a high 5 and you know, play his guitar and stuff. It was great to have a crowd so energized and into it. He said it was the best audience yet (oh, you say that to all of them I'm sure).

We went out to the bus afterwards and Brett posed for pics with people (Neale may have, I don't remember) but LB got right on the bus. You could see them all sit on the couch with Family Guy on and pizza being passed around. I guess everyone needs to chill after a long day's work!

I was there and it was the BEST LB concert I have ever been to. And that says a lot since I have been to so bloody many, and all of them were individually amazing. But this one was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

Hold on; I'm getting a review of sort ready. I mean, even my words won't be able to capture such greatness.
