Omg this is amazing. She should do commercials.. Love it! It would be so totally cool if there was a break in the music video and this was actually in the actual music video! I really hope!

First of all, WOW! Stevie's voice is so beautiful on this...it really envelops you!

Also, Stevie always says she can't act, but this is pretty convincing to me: "I wish for one day I could go back; in another life I would do things differently"...we all very well know Stevie would NOT change anything about her life, yet she says this so convincingly and genuinely. This proves to me that Stevie can absolutely channel other people and characters that are outside of herself and that acting is most definitely not beyond her capabilities.

Oh gosh, that made me cry....hearing stevie say those words...meh, can't wait to see the video!

the cadence and syntax sound a bit Stevie-esque to me. most specifically, the "i wish, for one day.." just seems like her syntax and sentence structure. i'm very curious to know who wrote that!

I heard Stevie is a big fan of Katy Perry pretty cool of stevie to do a voice over on her video. I like some of her songs not big fan of hers but like some of her songs. Pretty cool for Katy to get the legendary Queen of Rock to narrate her video.

This is from Katy's website

I just watched the clip .Stevie sounded awesome with the voiceover.Katy's cute also he tunes are ok.Maybe Stevie should team up with her with a remix or a new tune some day. This would put Stevie back on the mainstream charts again.

Ah! That is too good. I love it. Somehow in just those few lines she manages to rip the heart right out of you. She's got a knack for that.

johnnystorms · #25 11-06-2011, 02:33 AM

i've always wanted her to direct a Stevie video, ever since she did Special for Garbage!

TrueFaith77 · #26 11-06-2011, 10:57 AM

It's so about Lindsey.

Stevie absolutely loves the song E.T by Katy!

WildHearted · #28 11-06-2011, 08:18 PM

I KNEW that voice sounded familiar. I don't know how I didn't realize it was Stevie, I guess I just never would have expected her to do something like that.

Well, she certainly did a very good job reading that.

This is a little bit Nightmarish for me...My all time favorite singer (Miss Stevie Nicks) collaborating with one of my all time least favorite singers (Katy Perry)....I'm paradoxically stunned!!!

gypsy4life · #30 11-06-2011, 09:00 PM

Stevie sure knows how to tug at the heartstrings...while singing or speaking...this was beautiful...Katy Perry probably feels honored to have the Queen of Rock and Roll doing this for her...it was beautiful!
