Damn it's been slow around here, lately.......

I've had a crappy cold all week, so I broke out my secret weapon this evening.

Vanilla ice cream, with grape juice poured all over it. For my whole life, this has been my secret cold killer. Swear to god, it seems like when I hit this combo, the cold ends. Wish me luck!

Uck. I've been back a few hours from my Endoscopy procedure and I feel like crap. I asked for a Sedative because I was curious about the effects (I've had it done before without and was fine) and I seriously wish I hadn't. I feel like the walking dead. Mum had to help guide me through the hospital and to the taxi cab and she walked me into a bloody door! *shakes head in dismay*. Apparently I have a "hiatus hernia", where my diaphragm is actually perforated, and my stomach is sticking through into my chest. Sounds lovely

. I need to go back for an ultrasound of my abdomen to check on other symptoms relating to my anaemia.

Update: our power had been on for 24 hours when it went off again for 3 hours. It's back on again but we still don't have internet, cable or landline service.

My dad has that, too. Basically has led to acid reflux. As long as he doesn't eat 3+ hrs before bedtime and takes his Prevacid pill once a day, he's fine.

I think it's called "Hiatal Hernia".
