Default It's a bummer when you lose a precious CD!

I bought In Your Dreams on the day it was released. Then later on bought the Barnes & Noble version, with the bonus track 'My Heart.'

Several days ago, wanting to play the Barnes & Noble version, I freaked out when the CD was not in it's case. In a panic I searched everywhere for it. I did not understand how I could lose such a precious item.

Finally, I figure out what happened. I had crashed/totaled my car on my birthday, Sept.20th. I took all contents out of the car before it was taken away for demolition. One thing that never came to mind was the CD in the CD player -- In Your Dreams.

Needless to say, I had to order it again, and I'm awaiting it. Only then will everything again be complete and right in my world!

I know, I hate this. I always take my CD out of the CD player at all costs when I'm done listening to it cause I hate the feeling of not knowing where one of my discs are.

I was recently in a car crash myself and my car was totalled too. Luckly my BN copy I had in it's case next to me. It survived, but if it didn't I know I'd be going nuts until it was in my hands again.

For various reasons, I've now acquired 4 IYD CDs. So, I have one at home, work, and car.
The 4th one I haven't opened yet, so I decided to give it as part of a birthday present for my friend's one year old. They love music, so start the kid early, right?

Maybe pick up another cd or copy the one you have onto a blank disk?

Jamie

Glad your ok. It was 1989 when I was involved in an accident myself. My mothers car was totaled, and when she went to the tow place, they handed her the papers that were in the glove compartment, her plates, and my cassette of OSOTM, that was blasting in the tape player when the accident occured. I must say it was comforting to know that the tape survived as well. I used to keep it in the glove box of any car I drove thereafter, almost as a good luck piece.

Funny you said this. My replacement car doesn't have a CD player, only a cassette player. So I have a new found reason for playing my dormant stash of cassettes. One of the first one I played was The Other Side of the Mirror! I have all her albums on cassette up to Trouble in Shangrila.

Default CRAP! Barnes & Noble canceled my order - need help!

When I crashed and totaled my car, I forgot to take my IN YOUR DREAMS (w/bonus track) out the CD player.

So I ordered a new one, and after a long wait, I just recieved a email saying the order was canceled. I'm really upset. I still have the empty CD case as a painful reminder of the loss (of car and CD).

Replacing the car was easy, replacing the CD is not. Can anyone help with assistance on how I can find a replacement? This sucks!

I think the only way you can get the cd with the bonus track is through Warner Bros. direct.. It'll also come with the litho and it's 24.99

Warner Bros.

I got mine at the Barnes & Noble website. But after I ordered a replacement, waiting for it in the mail, they just reported to me that they couldn't fufill the order. Could it be that they are out of stock?

I just found a used copy for sale. I so ordered it. I hope this order is delivered. If this fails, I'll buy it from Warners.

When did you place the order? I ordered one on October 30, and so far mine is still scheduled to ship on November 21. I'm not sure why there is such a delay between ordering and shipping, but I'm still expecting to receive mine.

I really think ordering the bonus cd and the litho is awesome worth it. you should get it in a few days or week depends on when you order it. Thats what happened with me ordered it thru presale on barnes and noble site and said it was delayed so I cancelled right away and ordered it thru warner bros. site got with in a week or few days.
