I wholeheartedly agree! Love that song, particularly that version. I like the SYW version too, but prefer the Dance version much better.

It's actually one my wife and I's "songs".

well i WANTED to vote for the GHASTLY sugar daddy... then realized it was SO ghastly it didn't get a chance to BE on "the dance" by FM??!! LOL

Oh I much prefer the studio version! Sometimes when I listen to the live versions I feel like something has definitely been lost. The harmonies in this case just don't glue together as smoothly as I feel is needed for this beautiful song.

Anyway, I think you might be able to guess what I voted for

My favorite is "Gypsy"...

...but this "Silver Springs" is rightfully legendary... and definitive.

A forgotten song brought to its' rightful place in FM history with a performance only Stevie Nicks could deliver with such passion and emotion. "Silver Springs" for the win!

Watch it. Some of us love Sugar Daddy. And in my opinion it's better than about 95% of the stuff on The Dance.

Even though I love Silver Springs this is not my favorite version. I don't know why, but it just doesn't have that "wow" factor for me that I know it has for a lot of you. This might be my favorite version of The Chain though.

I agree. It's funny but seeing it on tour was much more powerful than that DVD for me. And it's not just when I saw it live. Even when I watch it on the boots when Lindsey is stomping his foot, as if to spur Stevie on and she is screaming and backing away, moving her mic stand across the stage, as he pursues . . . I find that very exciting. Also, unlike corny things they have done such as Say Goodbye or the Tusk dance, I found that SS kind of had a spontaneous feel every night that tour, but the officially recorded performance wasn't even a highlight of the DVD for me.
