Ok, just got home from the show. I cut a weekend in Seattle short & got home at 2pm, so this was a long day!
I got there at 7, right as the doors were opening. I was just to the left of Stevie about 5 people back from the stage. I was wondering about all the Ledgies because 2 handsome young guys were right next to me & during FWIW, they did the knocking motion. Anyhow, I loved the show. It was kind of surreal to see Stevie so close. Loved that she came out in red, instead of black. She seemed to be in pretty good voice & very chatty and cheerful. The Fillmore was packed. I am sure it sold out at the door. She was really enthusiastic in her delivery of the new songs and graciously thanked the audience for listening to the new songs "with grace" which I thought was really sweet. She sounded so comfortable & playful with FWIW, it was my favorite song of the evening along with Moonlight. I was impressed with Michael Grim, especially with his rousing version of Stay with Me with Stevie's band. It was quite a performance! The only drama around me was when 2 security guys drug a guy out of the front for filming the show. Most of the people around me were ok. So this was a very special night for me. Hope everyone enjoyed the show! |

I've only done soundboard and multitrack recordings at The Fillmore before and welcomed the opportunity to see how an audience recording might go. The 1500 capacity venue was sold out to an enthusiastic crowd. Opener was Michael Grimm, who joined Stevie for one song. This sounds better on quality headphones and on my studio monitors than on the car stereo - give this a listen on headphones! original seed date Oct. 9, 2011 |

^How adorable can someone be. Seriously.
On a side note, though: I saw an infomercial the other day for a $20 feather hair clip talking about how it's the new trend, lmao. I'm thinking, haven't people been wearing feathers in their hair FOREVER?

Eugene (or anyone who understands DimeADozen) -- can someone put that recording in MP3 form? I would LOVE to have a copy but DimeADozen hates me.

I was so determined on getting the poster before they ran out that i didn't even stop to look at the merchandise...but i seem to recall one of the people I met ended up with one. I'm sure someone else can confirm.

What a way to start my morning. It makes me proud to be a Stevie fan when I see how beautiful she looks..and genuinely content. The feathers are amazing and the red outfit!!!!! AH!!!! Badass. Love it. Was that for Rhiannon or for the while beginning of the show?
Can't wait to hear more details. And I'll also request mp3 format for the downloads..pretty please ![]() |

They had one, like a baseball jersery white with the black sleves. I didnt like that one, isnt there another one in brown I think. I also asked if they had any signed CD's they said no.
You would think there wouuld be at this show.
