Listen, I would love to, but I am off to Seattle Friday morning. In fact, I am cutting my long weekend short to see the Sunday Fillmore show. I had that trip planned before the shows were announced! I am flying back Sunday afternoon . Not what I had planned! But it's Stevie at the Fillmore, so I had no choice.

Joseph, thank u for the suggestion, I'll be in SF through Monday & just may have to check out Nopalito one way or the other. I love a great margarita!

There are two good places, one of which I listed, neither of which will be difficult to get a table at if we go earlish or latish. Or, if we are going to be a big group, I can make a reservation. So far there are more people opting for early. Maybe the people who can't come early can meet for drinks? Also, if we have dinner at 6:30, you can take a cab and be at Union Square in 10-15 minutes, so you could have dinner with us and maybe leave slightly early to meet your friend. Or, there could be an earlier dinner group and a later drink group. What do you all think?

Kevin
Yeah, that sounds fine. I can meet you all at 6:30. Can't wait!!

I've been listening to KFOG here at work ever since they announced the tic. give away to meet Stevie.... I havent heard them mention this at all? They did chime in today and announce tonights concert is now tomorrow night, but nothing about the meet & greet? Apparently I did not win if they already picked a name....

They do play a nice set of music here on KFOG, even played EOS this morning~

OK, well, tomorrow is the MW show and so I'll be busy and probably won't be able to get on line too much before Friday, and I know that some of you are traveling Friday. To accommodate people who may be on East Coast time and tired from traveling and who might be getting up early Saturday, I guess we should just meet at 6:30 in front of the Castro Theater. It would be nice if I knew how many people are coming so that we'll know when everybody is there so that we can leave to go get dinner.

OK, see y'all Friday evening. Stevie is tomorrow night.

I CAN'T WAIT

KEVIN

Hey everybody going to the Saturday show, I am not one of the people going to dinner on Friday night, i'm just going to be camping out for the show. So what time will you be meeting there? Will it be 3 a.m.? 6 a.m.?

When should I get there?!!! Who should I be looking out for? Will you have chairs or just blankets?

I'm just getting dropped off, I won't have a car, please help me out to plan for this Saturday, thank you everybody I appreciate it!

I got to the Wiltern at 3:30AM, but won't be repeating here. Dani, Amber, and I were the only ones until around 5:30, when Eliza (S.Nicks?) joined. Three more women showed up around 6:30, I think. If you're happy with being in the first 15, anytime before 7 should be safe.
Stamina is key. Honestly, we were all barely functioning by showtime. Under-slept, dehydrated, famished. If, like me, you're hitting both shows, you'll want to be especially careful.
Personally, I'm thinking 5:30.

I won't have either. Just comfy clothes and one of those airport neck pillows.
Unless you have someplace to put chairs or a blanket, you're kind of out of luck, I'm afraid.

I have a birthday party to go to during the day on Saturday and won't be in line until the afternoon. However, if any of you want to bring chairs and put them in my car around 6 PM, that's fine. You can get them when the show's over. Let me know. Also, we can make food runs while we wait in line. There are places near the Fillmore to get pizza and I think there's a taqueria too.

For the Wiltern show, i was 65th in line getting there around 330 PM. I still got a great spot too. (About 4 people back from the stage, dead center). I would think these crowds would be similar, but i guess you never know for sure.

This most likely will be me. I'm pretty sure I don't possess the same stamina or patience now that I did during my teens through my twenty-something-ish years for GA shows. I may have a change of heart, who knows, everything seems very ad hoc at this point.

I remember seeing when buying the tix that Michael Grimm was opening. I forgot about that actually.

Looking forward to meeting everyone either at dinner Friday or in line on Saturday!
