Cool Fort Pierce, FL show

GREAT crowd tonight!! Fantastic show...and so much better than Jacksonville, IMO. TONS of crowd interaction and ZERO security/camera nazis.

I am terrible with details, but I'll try to remember cute stuff.

There was a young lady there who had a small guitar (her young daughter's) signed by Lindsey (Brett took it to him backstage). Very cool.

Lindsey shook hands with people before....some song (ARG, can't remember which one).

Some lady went up to the front and kissed her hand and then put it on Lindsey's lips. Heh.

He also kissed some other lady on the front row.

I remember Holiday Road and I think Rock Away Blind being yelled out.

Here are some of my best pics. I got some video, but I will have to share that later. I'm off to Clearwater tomorrow.

Just got back from the show....
WOW!!!! I was six rows back, dead center. I swear, it felt like he looked straight at me half the time he was singing! Well, that's what I going to tell myself for the rest of my days!
Before LB came out we all sang Happy Birthday to him and again once he was on stage. He cracked a smile a few times but didn't say anything... Maybe trying to get in his space
Someone gave him a b-day card... Someone else gave him a cup of water - and he took it...
As the show went on, he really seemed to get into the crowd... He even did a stage walk shaking peoples hands in the front!
During the band intros, Brett said we were the best crowd so far (does he say that at every show? No really, does he? I don't know)
The sound was full and clear. He was spot on tonight. The new songs sounded great - it really made him smile from the crowd reactions to them.

Another fantastic show....

Please don't tell me that he drank from it.

Arrow Michele...

He certainly did. LOL

I remember that now and the lady with the b-day card. She handed it to him from the front row early on and then ran off somewhere else.

I would think Chicago was the best crowd overall on the tour from what I hear, but as far as shows in Florida....yes, FP was WAY better than JAX. VERY lively.

I talked with Brett after the show and he said "I was expecting blue hair and walkers here, but this crowd was awesome!" Hehe.

Florida's Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches, October 4, 2011 by Isadora Rangel
http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2011/oct/...basics-builds/

FORT PIERCE — At 62, Lindsey Buckingham still strums his guitar with agility.

Alone on stage, the former Fleetwood Mac vocalist and guitarist opened his concert at the Sunrise Theatre on Tuesday with acoustic versions of some big hits, such as "Trouble" and "Never Going Back Again."

When his voice went from a melodic humming to shouting the chorus, "I think I'm in trouble," the audience followed with an ovation.

"I thought I would start tonight the way I started, just me and my guitar," Buckingham said, referring to how he learned to play the instrument — by listening to his older brother's rock albums. "One of the things I learned to appreciate is that a child still lives within me."

As his support band went on stage, he played more old songs before moving into his latest and self-released album, "Seeds We Sow," the sixth in his solo career.

Buckingham refers to his post-Fleetwood Mac work as a "small machine" compared to the success of the band that sold millions of albums worldwide.

"There are projects that allow you to follow your heart and inspire you," he said.

Many people in the audience were not familiar with his "small machine" and came to the theater expecting to hear a few tunes that reminded them of their youth. Some didn't know who Buckingham was and bought tickets after hearing he was a member of Fleetwood Mac.

"A couple of days ago I thought he was a girl," Anthony Cerverizzo of Fort Pierce said, laughing.

When Buckingham played Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way," a few women stood up at the bottom of the stage like groupies while some fist-pumped and shook their heads in their seats. He went from standing by his microphone to rocking his body back and forth as he tapped his foot.

"We are children of the '60s. We grew up with rock 'n' roll," Paul Amaru of Vero Beach said. "Buckingham is not a Frank Sinatra crooner, but he's the everyman singer."

When he was done with the song, he received a standing ovation, the longest of the show. He then moved on to other songs from his solo career.

For some spectators who already knew his solo work, Buckingham's rock 'n' roll essence remains.

Michelle Sigmon of Fort Pierce said, "He still writes songs from his heart."

Christy, those pictures are stunning. You captured him so well! Love the first two especially. Glad you had such a fantastic time and they didn't attack you for your camera. Thanks for sharing.

Default Seeds We Sow video

The only video I took where you can actually SEE Lindsey. LOL The rest I kept my camera down afraid of getting caught by security. I have great audio of some of the other songs/shows though. I'll try to post them sometime.

Here is Seeds We Sow from the Fort Pierce show. I tried to zoom in on him a bit due to the harsh lighting for video-taking. Hope you all like.

Thumbs up

Sorry I'm a little late here, but thanks, Christy, for the review, video & pics. I don't understand why some venues are just so dead-set against pics & videos & some could care less.
