Question What's the best way?

Okay, so Fleetwood Mac is coming to El Paso, just half an hour from me...I have never in my life had a concert so close!!!

So...my question...should I drive and stand in line for tickets or is on-line still my best bet? I've never had the chance to actually go to a ticket office for tickets....so I'm hoping that some voices of experience can help me out here....I tried getting tix on a local pre-sale...but don't really want to sit in the parking garage I'm really really really wanting some floor seats...so any tips would be quite helpful

Thanks

I got tickets from ticketmaster for the Pittsburgh show only three days before the concert and pulled up 2nd row seats. So, if you can keep checking ticketmaster, you might get lucky!

I have never tried to get tickets the day of the show at the box office or anything like that - I am much too anal to take that kind of chance - LOL!!!

Well, I am going to get to the box office early (if that's the route I take) and like they're usually pretty cool right? About like getting you a good seat? haha..I have no clue how it works with a person...

Ive had better luck waiting than I have with onsales. I just got a 19th row to San Diego yesterday, and it was listed as sold out afterwards (not sure if its still listed as such). If I can get a closer ticket, I will, then take my Husband with me to SD. But its all good either way.

If FM comes back around my way for the 2nd leg ( they better!!) then Im waiting. I will see what the yuckclub has to offer ( I did get 5th row last time-Im the ONLY one who got good seats for some stupid reason) and if I get lucky again . If NOT, then Im waiting until the show is like a week away and checking. So many people got 1st and 2nd row that way. I'd wait and see. It's worked for everyone so far.

I don't think I have the patience to wait til that close to a show, but more and more I am leaning toward standing in line, then I at least get to talk to a person....thanks...

I tried the waiting game to go see Stevie's "Enchanted" tour hoping that good seats would open up. Never happend and subsequently I didn't get to go at all! It seems that no matter what I do, I get screwed....so I just accept it and move on.

LOL..that is what I'm afraid of...and twice I've heard bogus things on El Paso radio about the concert. One being when they announced tickets were actually on sale last week, when they didn't go on sale until tomorrow...and two..the said for this part of the tour Christine McVie would join the band...I was like.."yeah...for El Paso...aka skankville" hahaha...so there's all the pandemonium about the concert...and I don't want to get stuck with no tickets at all...oh the agony of making a decision like this

I would wait it out. I'm most definately doing that for the second leg. I had purchased my tickets off of Ebay and to tell you the truth, I paid less than what it costs through ticketmaster and they were really good seats (all of my seats for the shows were on the floor). As the show nears, you can find some people who are more than willing to give up their tickets either because they can no longer go or because they themselves have found better seats OR, they are ticket brokers from another state who want to get rid of em' because no one is buying. Play the game this way.... call ticketmaster, see what they have available every few days. Check online...see what's available on there...check e-bay...see what's on there. They are all (with the exception of e-bay obviously) alloted a certain number of tickets so you could get lucky using this technique. I played the phones and the net to get mine. That is my suggestion to you!

That's great DrummerDeana, were there a lot of people in line after you at the box office?

Congrats!

Maybe. But not with me or Christine or Lindsey. Christine and I will always be close; Lindsey just plain doesn't like me. I never had any musical training of any kind. I just had this innate ability to walk in, sit down at a piano, and write a song in five minutes, and go to bed. It drives him nuts. - Stevie Nicks, 1994
