Default Speculations

What songs do you think will make it onto the setlists for the shows?
and do you think it will vary at all between shows?

Im wondering if more OOTC stuff will be played if it is more in the vein of OOTC?

also anyone who attends a show feel free to post setlists here

I'd imagine he'll do these:

Illumination
Seeds We Sow
In Our Own Time
The Way Love Goes
End of Time

As far as OOTC goes... he didn't do much the last time around. Turn It On was really great when I saw that on the UTS tour. I caught myself singing along with him.

Of course Tusk, GYOW, So Afraid, and Big Love will be in there.

haha nah I can't make it. I have a little bit of money set aside right now but it's not nearly enough to fly round trip and go to a show.

Awww - I was going to invite you to the Edinburgh show, as impossible I know as that might be! You can crash at mine the days/nights before and I'd spring for train travel to Edinburgh and a room. The flights on the other hand are all on you...

I think you're pretty spot on with your setlist predictions from the new album I really like That's The Way That Love Goes and am looking forward to hearing it live. Others I'd like are:

Trouble
Mary Lee Jones
Wrong
Holiday Road
Cast Away Dreams
Down On Rodeo
Somneone's Gotta Change Your Mind
Slow Dancing
Don't Look Down
Second Hand News
The Ledge (No chance but I can dream!)
Miranda (ditto)
Blue Letter (ditto)
You Do Or You Don't
Eyes Of The World
Turn It On
Surrender The Rain
The Right Place To Fade (please!)
Wait For You
Tango In The Night (No chance but I can dream!)
Treason (great for a closer?)

Why thank you! Yeah, as I noted I doubt we'll get several of my suggestions! I think The Right Place To Fade could be possible though? I wish Lindsey was one of those artists, like Aimee Mann and others I've seen, who take requests from the audience. I'm actually surprised that he doesn't - he seems that kinda guy, like he'd appreciate someone calling for a more obscure Mac/solo track... something really from the small machine - haha!

As someone already posted a while ago, I think it'd be great if he did at least two songs from each solo album.

And took requests!

Personally, it would make my life if he performed D.W. Suite. But there's more chance of him bringing on a special guest, and it turning out to be Kaiser Wilhelm lol. There isn't any song in his catalogue that I hate, so I'll be happy with whatever he plays. But Stars Are Crazy and Down On Rodeo would be very nice.

Bee's Completely Unrealistic Wishlist That She Hasn't Put In Order Because She's Trying To Read And Is Using This Thread As A Distraction
  1. Down On Rodeo
  2. Stars Are Crazy
  3. D.W. Suite
  4. That's How We Do It In LA *Goofy Smile*
  5. Johnny Stew (Stuuuuuu! Stuuuuuu! Grrrr!)
  6. Did You Miss Me
  7. Wait For You
  8. I Want You
  9. Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
  10. Trouble
  11. Don't Look Down
  12. Wrong
  13. Countdown
  14. Bwana ( )
  15. Illumination
  16. That's The Way That Love Goes
  17. When She Comes Down
  18. One Take
  19. Rock Away Blind
  20. Soul Drifter
  21. Satisfied Mind
  22. My Little Demon
  23. Peacekeeper
  24. Blue Letter
  25. Tango In The Night
  26. I'm So Afraid
  27. My Little Demon
  28. Tusk
  29. Oh Diane
  30. Oh Well
  31. Book Of Love
  32. Red Rover
  33. Ledge
  34. Walk A Thin Line
  35. That's All For Everyone

Okay. There's a slight chance that I got carried away with this list haha.

sadly you're only gonna get 15-18 songs based on what he usually performs in the last few tours. Choose them well!
