Beware Of Video Seller/trader!!!!!

Several fans have ordered from a person calling themselves David Rice, he is selling tour videos and audio and he is running a scam it seems. He posted to several news groups and to some chat boards selling items, has taken ppls money and is not answering emails, etc. There is a web page that is exposing a scam artist doing this whose name is Dan Rease and this may be the same person. His address is a Mail Boxes location in Florida for this latest scam.

Please be on the lookout for this and do not do business with him. The address that he used to take money from fans recently is David Rice/DPR, 914 Curlew Road #114, Dunedin, FL 34698.

If you have been hurt by him, you can file a complaint with the FBI internet fraud division, with the PostMaster for Mail Fraud, with local authorities. DO NOT LET HIM DO THIS.

You can also get your credit cards reversed probably.

So sorry that these ppl pop up and run cheats and scams. but, you need to avoid this dude at all costs. I think that the DPR by his name is his initials, maybe Dan P. Rease?

I didn't buy from him, as I don't own a DVD player, but I feel for those of you who got burnt.Dishonesty bites.

Bwaaahahahaha...this guy is one twisted person. You guys need to read about him. I do not understand how he is still operating and doing this. Why the FBI or some agency has not closed him down. He is into porno and all kinds of trash.

If you know the person is on eBay, could you post his ID? That could help. There are some new people on eBay selling videos from the current tour. Thanks for the info!

I am not sure that they have an eBay id...they have been hitting the chat boards and news groups...but, they are located in FL...that may help to ferret them out. Wish I knew more. I personally did not buy from them, but, as a avid video buyer, I am really upset that they are doing this to fans and cannot understand how they have gotten away with it for five years...baffles me.

Well, I did have his address because I was going to do a trade with him. I was too busy with all of my trips and stuff so I never did send them out. He never did email me back anyway.
Sometimes, I am really glad that I am too slow.

Hey! This guy wanted to trade me for my Washington DC video. He said he taped the Gund Arena show the night before he emailed me. I found it odd that someone who lives in Florida would go all the way to Cleveland to film a show. If it was opening night I would understand. He also INSISTED that I send my video first. I have never heard of this person before so I passed. Has anyone gotten anything from this person???

This appears to be one of the very worst scam artists around...please go to this link, note all the aliases on the link...he uses several. Some ppl have been contacted by the Levy persona recently. DO NOT trade with or buy from him.

Just a suggestion... and not trying to sound all "vigilante" like...

But what city does he live in? Did you have his address Pattie? Maybe another Ledgie who lives in their town can go to their place and ask whats up?

I had to do that a few years ago. Some jerk was selling a photo I took of another band on ebay. The guy lived in LA so I straightened that out realll quickly, but luckily the bands attorney stepped in and all was good in the end.

Before anyone should confront this guy, you need to read what he has said to some ppl who have confronted him on the internet...he has threatened them physically, and legally, the legal part would not hold water, but, the physical part,,,,,go and read it. Please before anyone confronts him. I get the heebies from this dark presence.

Seriously, I had "[email protected]" email me for a trade, But when he sent his mailing address I emailed him a "Bad Trader" alert from a fellow trader's website and for some reason he just went "poof"!!! Gee, I wonder why?
