Default Buckingham Nicks - Live Shows

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a site (torrent or otherwise) that contains the live Buckingham Nicks shows that came to light recently?

Lossless would be really good, but mp3 is fine. I'm happy to serve them on my webspace indefinitely (i don't use it for anything else haha)...

Thanks in advance,

Jason

There are only two BN live shows available that I am aware of. Both are on BuckinghamNicks.net and were shared by Gary "Hoppy" Hodges, the drummer. If anyone can confirm other known live recordings, please do.

The song order is not certain but here are the known dates and tracks:

Birmingham Jan. 28, 1975

Monday Morning

Races Are Run (cuts in)

Farewell Failure

Django / Sorcerer

Rhiannon

You Won't Forget Me

Blue Letter

Instrumental

Tuscaloosa Jan. 29, 1975

Lola (My Love)

Stage Talk

Monday Morning

I Don't Want to Know

Never Going Back Again (Instrumental)

Races Are Run

Rhiannon

Long Distance Winner

Django / Sorcerer

You Won't Forget Me

Blue Letter

Heartbreaker (Circles in Time)

Don't Let Me Down Again

Frozen Love

Crystal

Fleetwood Fans! Lindsey Buckingham Confirms Mac Reunion - For Next Year!

fleetwood-mac-reunion-2012.jpg

And we're talking everything - a tour, an album and perhaps something particularly special from himself and Stevie Nicks!

Lindsey Buckingham has a solo album out next month and when we say solo, we mean SOLO. The album is distributed on his own label and he did everything from producing to engineering to singing and playing nearly every single instrument. Lindsey's been BUSY!

Still, even with his own project getting ready to take flight, he's still thinking towards the future, in particular a reunion with his bandmates of Fleetwood Mac next year. According to Lindsey, there is a very good chance the band will not only tour, but also put out a new album in 2012! He spills to Rolling Stone:

"We're doing something for sure. I wouldn't be shocked if it was a tour and possibly an album. We'll have to wait and see. Nothing is on the books right now. With Fleetwood Mac, there's a lot of landmines out there politically and it's hard to get everybody on the same page at the same time – but I think this might be one of those years where everyone will want to do the same thing. Whatever that is."

Outstanding! We'd love to see the gang back together again! Especially you and Stevie!

Which reminds us…

There might be more than a few of you out there who understand what we're talking about when we speak of the 1973 LP Buckingham Nicks . Well, Lindsey reveals that it might be time for the record to finally make it into CD form and what's more, he and Stevie might even tour as a duo.

Dead. We just died. The mere idea of this happening was too much for our hearts to handle.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! We want it all!

But first, we want good things for Lindsey's album. Much success, Buck!

I can't wait to download these when I get home! Thank you for posting.

I so hope they do the long-awaited Buckingham Nicks re-release (and whatever other 'special' projects that emcompasses). I know they've been talking about it forever, but it seems like this time it could really happen. They're both in a good place with each other right now. Perhaps they'll wait until the 40th anniversary in 2013?

Gary Hodges answered me on facebook and said to me that the final 2 shows for Buckingham Nicks were indeed in Jan of '75. However, although often mislabeled, the correct dates are Jan 30 in Tuscaloosa and Jan 31 in Birmingham. Other tracks have surfaced from a show 5/11/74 - Alabama State Fairgrounds, Birmingham, AL and a show in Mobile, AL with an unknown date.

Thanks for the corrected dates.

Where are the 5/11 Birmingham and the unknown date Mobile shows?

Well to be honest, I am not sure that he remembers it correctly. Mainly because we went back and forth about some of the versions of the tracks I had gotten off of here, I believe. Like there is one song - I think Rhiannon but not sure - that to me has 3 different versions or takes of it and I asked him what shows they could be from and he said there were 4 shows in total that have at least a track if not more circulating - Tuscaloosa, Mobile, and the 2 Birmingham shows from different dates. I could look for them and post them here but I got them originally from here I believe. And maybe I'm wrong and they are not from 3 different shows but regardless he said those 4 shows could have tracks circulating. Hope this helps.
