Edit: I just booked my seat through The Lowry website. All you have to do is register and you get access to Priority Bookings. There are no seats near the front available but I don't care. For £49.50 I just booked by seat (N19) in the stalls, paid the booking fee and got my car parking paid for too.

*Dances in to the tune of the infamous Heat Magazine advert*

"I'm going to Maaaaaanchester to watch a Lindsey concert! I'm going to Maaaaaanchest to watch a Lindsey concert!"

*Dances out again*

By the way - does anyone know how much the tickets are? The Live Nation page for Edinburgh doesn't say...

Thanks. I'll let people know once I get a presale one (which I'm guessing I'm eligible for since I'm registered with Live Nation)

All you ticket buying experts out there, is it better to buy priority tickets or wait? I managed to get fourth row for Fleetwood Mac buying priority but I get nervous if I leave it till general sale that I will get worse seats. Any views or advice please?

Edit: Just rang the Sage. Tickets not on sale here until 9th which is the day after priority opens on Live Nation but the lady at the Sage reckons I'll probably get a better seat if I book direct with them on the 9th. Dilemma!

I've had most success with pre-sales and the fact that I normally buy just 1 ticket. Find out how pre-sales are being run then buy the instant they become available.

If I could find an on-sale date I'll get a ticket at 9am sharp that day. It always confuses/worries me when dates are on an artists's official site but they don't show up anywhere else....
Live Nation presale on the 8th at 9am

Except for Leeds 02 Academy - there is no pre-sale date showing, only general sale on the 9th at 9 am!

Anyone know what pre-sales passwords are? How can we find out?

Thanks Phil, I'll give that a try. I can always leave it until general sale if it offers me not very good tickets.

Getting tickets directly from the venue, if possible, usually works out well. However, to get access to the Live Nation presale I think all you need to do is register with them and create an account - it's free. It's what I did for the Unleashed tour.

I'm generally a fan of just being online or on the phone at 9am on the day tickets go on sale, whether that be a presale or not.

Me too - something else that usuallyu helps you get a good one.

Yup - see my subsequent message., Thanks though! I think we all noticed Lindsey's website immediately and we were quicker than Live Nation - haha.

I'm sure I've bought presale before without passwords. Just had to log on to the site on the day.

That's what I did for Live Nation for Unleashed. No password required but you have to have a Live Nation account.
