OK so here's my debacle...I really want to go see this show...I can totally buy tickets online...just a problem of getting from my college to there and then back to my college that night as I have no place to stay. I'm in Poughkeepsie NY does anyone know how far this is from Jones Beach and if I would be able to make it back in time. Also, is it safe to travel alone? Sorry I just really want to go to this concert! Trying to make it happen lol

Are you driving or are you trying to take a bus/train? If you are driving, you are probably looking at a 2 hour drive, but all depends on the traffic for the bridge(s) you'll need to cross. Going home that night should be easy traffic wise though.

Jones Beach is actually in a state park and the concert venue is in it's own section with it's own parking lot. You'd be arriving in the daylight and then walking out with a slew of people so from a safety perspective if you are driving, you'll be fine. Besides if you come, you'll have to meet up with all the Ledgies going so you won't be alone.

If you need to take a bus/train, that's a whole other bowl of cherries though. You'd have to check times for transportation back.

I'll be happy to help you figure out the best way if you want. Just PM me if youd like.

I just checked the livenation site for Jones Beach and I cannot believe how many seats are unsold. With only 2 days to go, I foresee an empty second section of the audience, unless they let the back come down front. Very depressing for Stevie to see that much space in the audience.

Quick update. She was awesome! Great show. And we got to meet her (and the whole main cast).
