Hooray for today (and gldstwmn)!!!

Just got my Row 10 Center Dallas ticket on Ticketmaster!
Thank you, gldstwmn, for sending me the message about the tickets!
This had NOT been a good week. I broke up with my girlfriend on Monday and actually went to a singles dinner tonight (NOT my scene, and what follows is one more reason why). Well, hello - I got there & the only other people to show up were two other guys! We were not amused, but we stayed and ate. As I bit further into my pizza, something sticking out of my mouth poked me on the outside of my cheek. I pull out a four inch bent wire! I bring my plate and the wire to the counter to get my money back, and they determined that it's what's left of a twist-tie from the bread package. (Hell, is that Stevie-karma? I wrote about twist-ties in the last song parody I posted!) Well, gee. I guess I'm relieved it wasn't the busboy's braces.
I get home, check my e-mails, & my computer is going bonkers. All I know is that it has taken forever to log onto The Ledge this week, but tonight, I got right in on the first try when my computer would connect to no other sites. (Somehow this computer knew.)
I got the message from gldstwmn & rushed to TM, which promptly froze and failed to recognize my password a couple of times. But in the end, I GOT IT.
This is so great. All week I've been struggling (and annoying Livia with my indecisiveness!) over whether to buy a seat in this EXACT row that's available at an online broker for $295 --- far less than the other ones available, since it's a single seat, which is what I need.
This is Fate!
What's next, getting stuck in the hotel elevator with Stevie?

Whew! I'm glad I could be of help. What kind of pizza joint is using bagged bread for their pizza? I was on the phone with a long winded client and bless his heart (now) the guy just wouldn't shut up. He called just as I was about to go for a bike ride so I was trying to get out the door. Before I left I thought I'd give it another shot on TM. It was weird. I looked at the screen as it was thinking and I knew it was going to give me something and poof it did. So yes, timing is everything. Glad your week is getting better. I'll see you in Dallas. P.S. I wish you do get stuck in the elevator with Stevie.

It was a health place. Pizza was on foccaccia bread (sp?).

Talk is cheap when it comes to the elevator. Be a pal and cut the power once Ms. Nicks & I are ascending. I promise to post the details, so it's a win-win.

Good grief...WIRE!!?!! Sorry you had a CRAP day, Jake, but WOW, GO YOU...10th row center and you didn't have to resort to a broker!!!!

I pray we can get rows 1-3 or something in the next couple of weeks....we have GREAT lower balcony seats, but hey, 1-3 is GREATNESS if you are a LINDSEY fan, most especially!!!!!!! So...we'll keep tryin.

Me too!!! TX would be an awesome time with you all. After the show, we'd all chill in the bar of the Four Seasons waiting for them to make an appearance...you'd all order drinks...I'd order up my Nestle's Quick...lol Seriously though, it would be a lot of fun and I'd love to meet you and Christy and Jake and Livia again but I have to work and make mo' money My boss wants me to work more than 40 hours a week and I'm hesitant but I may take him up on it.
