I know that your life is more important than the concert price, but given that this is an event of national disaster proportions, just because the organizers decided to go through with it doesn't mean people who stayed home should lose money. So, if Stevie is going to be there, I hope that those who attend have a great time. But it'd be nice if those who decided to stay home got a refund. I wouldn't say that for any storm, but this one has been on the news across the country for two days now. It's not just people over-reacting -- well, there may be an over-reaction, but the media, mayor, governor, and first responder authorities are leading it and so a concert-goer who heeds them shouldn't suffer. I don't think so. Rain or shine last I heard and they moved the times up an hour to accommodate dear Irene.....

Well, since the house probably won't be full, people should be able to move down to some pretty nice seats.

If I had tickets to this show, I wouldn't go after reading all those butthurt comments on the venue's Facebook page. Why would you want to watch a concert with a bunch of people like that?
Maybe I'm wrong, but I really doubt that Stevie herself is sitting there ordering people to go on with the show because she's "an ass" and is full of "corporate greed."

What if she said that she wouldn't perform? Would they reschedule?

No, they'd sue.

I was thinking that, but if she said she was sick and cancelled for that ostensible reason, they'd have to accept it.
But, of course, promoters and everyone involved would lose a great deal of money, whether the show was rescheduled or cancelled outright. Michele |
