Had a wonderful morning with the crew. I cherish each moment. It was great to introduce some new faces into the mix, as well.


SIDE NOTE: I totally teared up like a chiffon-head during FWIW. Struck a chord today...

To be honest, I had low expectations going in due to the less-than-phenomenal experience I had at the Today Show in 2005. This was totally different. For one thing, the Ledge crew there was excellent. Secondly, what a beautiful morning in a beautiful surrounding! And we got to see so much more action that wasn't aired on TV. The production rehearsal was fascinating, and I got the whole thing on video! (I hope). I shall upload shortly... Stevie was obviously in a chatty, happy mood and so gracious too!

So envious, though happy to hear everyone had a great time. The weather looked perfect (calm before the storm ) & everyone looked great in HD (snapped a few screen captures I'd best keep under wraps). And I can't believe Stevie said she'd been up all night. WTH...though she does tend to exaggerate practically everything!! Anyhoo, it looked like you guys were pretty much front and center looking forward to your video footage of all the goodies we missed (btw shouldn't you be taking a nap & preparing to evacuate by noon tomorrow?)

Her album is charting on iTunes now and doing much better on amazon. Her television appearances are the only thing that seems to impact sales.

Wow, her performance sounds wonderful. I'm unfortunately not able to watch it until next week. I had my mom record it for me, so when I go home to visit next week, I can watch it. But reading everyone's posts is making me excited to see it.

This is great & she obviously realizes it. She's a force with a very determined constitution when she wants. Stevie's been very focused on getting word out on her new record to as many people as possible. She's been working her butt off and it seems to be paying off sales-wise (IYD along with all her & FM's catalog) slowly but steadily. I'd bet by years end IYD in the US exceeds 200K (It's gotta already exceed that WW) and that would be a quite a feather in her cap, compared to her peers in the same age group & genre in this day.

I skimmed through my tapes earlier.I noticed they spend most of the time on Irene.And wasted time on the grill cooking.But the food looks good.As always She got fuked on airtime.Also the interview was short.She sounded awesome and looked awesome.

+1, I thought the food part was awful and it was "nothing" I would eat. They spent TOO much time on the "food part". Some chicken and grits? Who's thinking about that at 8 in the morning???
