sucks.

in every other video, stevie is queen. she appears as a strong, confident female solo-artist. this video make her seem dependent, and it's disgusting watching her act as an oblivious homewrecker.

their interraction muddles the meaning of the song/video and makes stevie's current reputation questionable.

I LOVE it! There are some absolutely beatiful shots in this video - especially those with Stevie in the desert in the classic Rhiannon/top hat outfit. Beautiful composition, lighting in particular. It almost looks like Cameron Crowe could have filmedd it.

Huh? Many music videos give the artist a love interest. Often, the artist or the love interest is in a relationship in real life. The director generally trusts that the audience can separate art from life, and won't proclaim, "Adultery!"
Nor do I think it makes her subordinate. Even strong, confident women fall in love.
