Any word on whether or not "Moonlight" will be part of the upcoming (November) "Twilight" movie soundtrack - or whether a music video will be made featuring footage from that film? I can't imagine that Stevie's marketing people wouldn't be all over this. Grounds for dismissal if they can't make this amazing song a BIG hit for Stevie!

Am I missing something? Stevie has noted that the song Moonlight was inspired by her seeing the movie Twilight. I don't think she wrote it with the intention of it being intergrated into it.
It's a huge leap to think the producers of the movie would be so enthralled by her song that they would want any association with it...after the fact. Beyond fan speculation, has there ever been mention of an official business connection between her and the movie producers?

Okay, so Stevie did finish the song after seeing Twilight, but she first wrote most of it during Bella Donna. She says so herself, "me and the girls have been singing this for years." or something like that, it's a very old song.

Never going to happen.
Her song doesn't fit into the teen angst that used in the movies. Her song is too literal and old fashioned. It doesn't fit.

I think there's a "slight" chance it could be included...but if not...i will bet the house that Moonlight will be the final single release promoted heavily around the Twilight movie release.

I agree that it is too literal to be played within the movie itself, but I think "Moonlight" would be an excellent song to play over the end credits. Plus I think the instrumental track itself is interesting enough to be played as a recurring musical motif throughout the movie. It does have a modern gothic pop vibe about it that is perfectly contemporary; it's not old fashioned at all.

Sadly I have no hiope theat they'll even attempt such a thing. It's shocking to admit but they're just so poor at promotion!

Agreed completely. I think there's a better chance of the song getting in the soundtrack than people think... The soundtrack isn't all that special or important ha
