Stevie at Sturgis Video...wow!!!

[Jondalar]

That was the best concert footage. She looks like some fairy, warrior, queen standing in the adversity. It's haunting and just beautiful.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the board. Been a "lurker" forever. Did anybody notice that around 2:30 in the YouTube video the filmer got a shot of the lighting rig above her. The security guy standing on the side of the stage kept looking up at it swinging back and forth and you know what he was thinking. Could it come down. My first thought after seeing the nightmare in Indiana with the stage collapsing was that the same thing could have happened in Sturgis judging from the wind on that video. Stevie just hung in there and it just seemed the sound of the wind and the drama of it all made that song even more haunting than it already is. Yeah, she definitely seemed like some beautiful ancient warrior princess especially with her hair and outfit flying in the wind. I love the song!!!!

She mentioned the youtube video?

Yeah right before that Karen sort of hurriedly went over to Marty and it looked like they were watching the lights because just before that the backdrop blew over and several people standing behind or near scurried off - except for some guy who must have grabbed a camera and began frantically video taping Stevie as she sang...boy I'd love to see the footage he got!

[Jondalar]

Well, the weather has been crazy. Tons of tornadoes this year. That lighting could of come down.

This is the title of another video from that night:

John Fogerty stopping the rain after Stevie Nicks stirred up a storm.

She most certainly did. It's in the recorded concert from Grand Prairie, Texas. The only bummer though is that for the one youtube clip she ever mentioned viewing, it had to be one where the sound doesn't match up to the picture. Now she's gonna think all of youtube is the devil.

Oh crap..ok..i DL Grand Praire..guess i will have to listen to it all the way through when i get a sec. Whereabouts in the show is it? And yea..the ONE effing yotube video to watch, right?
