you are correct. perhaps it was a benefit concert? At any rate, it's a different shawl.

Now all Stevie has to do is to resurrect the famous blue 'table cloth' shawl as well!

I don't think she's worn that since the 1994 tour.

That doesn't look like the Enchanted Tour, but he is right about the shawl being different.

The alternate red shawl is I believe the same one she wore for Twisted in '98 and Stand Back/Leather & Lace at the 200o AHI benefit (pictured here).

I love this picture. I've said it once, and I'll say it again...bring back Don Boyette!

Maybe I'm lost but this looks like the same red shawl as the original? Gold designs throughout and all. Or maybe you're talking of something else... anyway, I love the red shawl.

It's amazing even after all these years, that shawl has held up and still shimmers onstage.

Wow the pictures of the red shawl through the years are amazing!! It's so wonderful seeing how it has stayed the same and remained timeless...just like Stevie herself

Yes, the alternate red shalw is shorter, more sheer and has tiny gold dots.
The not-Enchanted pic is from the TISL tour.

I also think this shawl is no longer in Stevie's possession. I have a hunch it may the one that Don Henley raffled off during one of the benefits they were playing circa 2001. I remember her talking aboutg it an interview...how she left it on the drum riser and he just snatched it up and raffled it off. Not sure how true that is...I'm sure Stevie gave her approval at some point...

Hmm maybe there was a somewhat similar shawl she had made? Could it be this one? I found this in the 7W stash.

At shows before she has dropped or left a shawl onstage but someone always picks it up and treats them like sacred things because they are. I can't see anyone, even Don Henley just grabbing and making off with something like that that's hers. I'm sure she and her people keep track of her beloved things.

I tend to agree but I'm just going by what Stevie said herself in an interview a few years back. And according to her, it was auctioned off for charity...
