Atlanta postponed

Just got the call and email from LiveNation about the reschedule of the Atlanta show. Glad I didn't jump on that plane at 6am this morning. Actually if it wasn't for this message board I wouldn't have known what was going on. Notifying you roughly 8 hours before the scheduled start of a show is not enough time if traveling.
Hopefully this will be a great concert. The additional cost are "killing" me, never mind the stress of it all.
I hope Stevie is feeling better or whoever was ill in the band.

I agree.We and Stevie dont know what these people touched before shaking her hands.Stevie should have some Purel towlettes beside her water bottle on stage.As soon as Stevie finished the Edge walk and hope she dont touch her face .She walks over to wipe her hands right away.

Indeed, Lori always has the dubious honor of holding hands with Stevie immediately after the Edge walk. Yet strangely she never seems to be sick.

Airborne always does the trick for me. The millisecond I feel that something is amiss, I pop one or two in 8 oz. of water. Haven't had so much as a sniffle in two years.

It could be an illness who knows also it could be ticket sales saying she is sick sounds better than hearing poor sales of tickets too. I hope she is feeling better if it is an illness. I have a feeling its poor sales if it was close to sell out show they would have postponed it not to lose the money from that show so my guess is more likely poor sales than an illness. It's like calling out of work sick where your really not sick.If she is sick I hope she is feeling better soon.Bummed for the fans that bough tickets to the show.

I can understand about being sick often too I have a weak immune system now than before so when I do get sick it lingers longer than usual.

First of all, she is sick.. She told the crowd Saturday night in Houston that she was sick and her voice wasn't right, I was there. And I could tell a difference between Friday and Saturday nights. I don't think Stevie would lie just to cover up poor ticket sales.

I don't think she haveing problems selling tickets this tour. The other concert she cancelled was 90% sold out.

I too believe she is sick, to canc. "her show" due to low ticket sales is unheard of, isn't it? I've heard os some artist canc. a show due to low tickets sales but they come right out & say that. To lie & say one's sick

I've been to a show when she was coming back after being sick, it was not a pretty thing. So were much better off with her getting well before returning to the statge.

You know the only thing that irks me? Not that she is sick,because i am sure she is,and i hope she slows the hell down and gets better..it is more that she and her management suck donkey balls at communicating. I don't expect Stevie to pick up and iPad and tweet that she is canceling a show,but SOMEONE should,for god's sake. Most artists i know keep their fans in the loop,and we are much more understanding for it...the internet isn't ALL bad,Stephanie Lynn!
