Rather than clutter up the "Photo of the Day" thread for the next two weeks, I'll go ahead and picspam a bunch of recent concert pics featuring an unsung hero of Stevie's wardrobe - the red shawl.

i think she wore at live at red rocks 86 underneath the black coat you can see in I need to Know -its probably the same one

"Greatest Hits Hell era"...omg love that!

I absolutely adore this red shawl.

HOWEVER...I think it's BLASPHEMOUS for her to wear anything but the classic polka-dot "Stand Back shawl" during Stand Back!

She talked about it at the Houston show. She said it's the same one she's had since 1976 then made some joke about recycling or being green or something!

i agree about wearing the black polka dot shawl for Stand Back
also I think Stand Back should be in the middle of the show !
but i still love her

Great montage!! That shawl certaintly was a good investment piece! I hate to nitpick but I can't help it! Pic #7 (second from bottom) is from the Enchanted Tour, I believe and I"m pretty sure that's a different red shawl, a shorter one without the big gold swirly things on it. The fringe is different, too.

It can't be an Enchanted tour pic, as Don Boyette was her Enchanted bassist, and Al Ortiz is visible in the background of this photo.
