You're bordering on creepy, I would just stick to concerts and CD signings.
She's a singer not your friend

Here's how you do it. And trust me, I have sources who have told me that this works:

Go to a Stevie concert dressed in a really crazy costume. I'm not talking dressed as Stevie, as most of those people come across looking like fools anyway.

I'm talking "Let's Make a Deal" style: clown, hot dog, box of Kleenex.

People have done this before and people from Stevie's "camp" see this and say, "Oh this person is so outgoing and crazy, we HAVE to introduce him to Stevie!" and they get approached and escorted right back stage to Stevie's dressing room.

Usually, from what my source has told me, the weirder the outfit the better.

Good luck!

Yeah, one guy from the Seven Wonders board went dressed as a pirate, and another went dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog and it worked for them! Most important thing is to be creative. Best of luck!

Did you not hear about the divided opinions on Sonic? Some people in Stevie's camp apparently weren't too impressed that someone would be so desperate

Yeah I did hear, apparently they only decided last minute to let him through so that was a close call. At least he did better than that woman who went dressed as Princess Leia... if only she'd known that Stevie doesn't like Star Wars beforehand

Under the suspicion that Stevie was a Franz Kafka fan, I wore a carapace with vestigial insect appendages like the guy in "The Metamorphosis." She got a huge kick out of it!

I love this thread!

Not in envy. I mean, I haven't met her either. I haven't met Lindsey (my favourite, duh) either. But I'm okay about it. There's always tomorrow. And if not, I've daydreamed enough scenarios to content me. The way I've always seen it, the things we've always wanted have a tendency to happen when you stop trying/looking as hard for them. You just have to relax, live true to yourself, indulge in the opportunities that COULD lead to what you need/want, but ultimately enjoy those experiences for the experience and story alone. Not what could have been. I'm sorry if people read this the wrong way and feel as though I'm judging them for being excited about having met somebody. I'm really not. I'm happy for you all that you had that experience. But those who haven't yet, don't sweat it as much. Everything happens for a reason, and those we meet and connect with in life are the ones who are destined to have an effect on our lives, no matter how small. If we don't meet somebody, then they obviously aren't destined to make a bigger connection than what they already
have.
Great points and advice. Well put. I also agree that most times when you meet people it's luck. Here's are the scenarios in which I've met people in Stevies camp as an example of that:

Lindsey Buckingham - ran into him during SYW tour in Vegas at MGM Grand hotel. He was staying on same floor as me and i didn't even know it until i saw him.

Sharon Celani - saw her in the MGM casino during the same tour.

Lori Nicks- met her at Sunset Sessions with Sharon again. They happened to be sitting right behind me.

Carlos Rios - met him backstage after a Stevie show while waiting to hopefully meet Stevie (which didn't happen).

Al Ortiz and Jimmy Paxson - while staying at caesars palace in vegas for a Stevie show. Ran into them in elevator and restaurant.

Stevie Nicks - at the recent CD signing in LA. This was after a long time of coming close to meeting her several times then finally realizing that if it's meant to happen it will.

So, as you can see, it is mostly luck. (At least for me)

BTW- this thread has some funny-a** posts!! !!!

It's decided. If I ever make it to a Stevie concert, I'm going as a Bee. Bumble bumble!

Lawd have mercy! SuperFleetwood u need to calm yo butt down! Stevie Nicks is a human being just like the rest of us. The only difference is she was blessed with the ability to touch the masses. That's all! See this attitude is the reason she only comes out when it's dark, wears gloves all day and won't keep those soft waves in her hair! You're the reason y she wears CRUSHED VELVET!!!!!!!

Instead of being jealous (keep it real u know u r) of ppl that have had an opp to meet her, you should be greatful that you know/know of someone that did! Let their experience fill u with joy! Go grab a damn tambourine and rock out to the fact that yo simple ass couldn't go to the wiltern show! Blast "gypsy" and spin and kick from the stories of the cd signings!

In my best SuperFleetWood voice "oh my god-a! Relax-a!"

Now go take a nap! And when u wake up, come back with happy and healthy thoughts!

*hugs*! Act right boy!

Now tell me u love me!
