Stevie Nicks returning to Red Rocks
10:23 AM, Aug 5, 2011, Channel 9 News http://www.9news.com/rss/story.aspx?storyid=211977 DENVER - Stevie Nicks is known for her work with Fleetwood Mac and being a member of the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. However, that's in the past and now Nicks is back on tour with her new album called "In Your Dreams." The album features several new hits, as well as some of her greatest hits. She sat down with a 9NEWS reporter Friday morning to talk about coming back to Red Rocks. "I performed my most favorite filmed show from 1985, live at Red Rocks, which has a lot of memories for me," Nicks said. She earned a Grammy Award nomination for her live performance. Red Rocks also hits close to home for Nicks as she has many relatives that live in Colorado. "When I'm at Red Rocks, and I'm not on that stage, I feel all of those relatives there," Nicks said. Although she's already an accomplished artist, Nick's isn't looking at the past, but toward the future. "This is going to be a very different show; the new songs are weeded in amongst the new songs," Nicks said. "I'm really excited about it because the new record is really important to me and I am willing to take risks to take it to the people." Nicks will be performing at 8 p.m. on Aug. 9.

I have completely blown my lower back out and spent the last hour or so tearing up over the injustice of it all.
 And now I am eating ice cream and trying to relax with the knowledge that I will be in Colorado this time tomorrow night (bad back or no bad back).

Someone needs to recreate the big sheet like in the RR video. I haven't watched it in a while, it said White Winged Dove, right? That would be schweet! Hopefully we will hit the lotto and I can high tail it out there. Dream on silly dreamer...
