I don't know about all the other outdoor venues, but the Woodlands Pavilion isn't even selling the cheap lawn seats, at least not yet.

Same situation @ PNC NJ-there are many unsold $25 seats, so no need to sell lawn tickets.

Question Stubhub

So...thinking (I repeat, thinking) about finding a way to get to a show. There are some pretty good seats out there on Stubhub...has anyone ever used it? Discuss...

Please don't feed the scalpers. I may put that on a t-shirt and start wearing it to shows.

I scored front row for Boston, 10th row for Jones Beach on Ticketmaster and 5th row for the Rod Stewart show. Its all about timing and the AMEX presales.

I know that, I've had awesome luck too (with more time)...I'm just coming into it late at this point. Didn't plan on going but now want to...hence, the possible need for Stubhub.

So, has anyone used them?

Go see what what was just posted in the other show thread stickied below this one. A little patience and a little diligence will usually pay off in the end. I love it when people beat Sticketbastard at their own game.

That's awesome but I live in Western Canada...hard to wait until the show gets even closer if I have to book flights, hotels, etc... Don't know what to do...

I totally know what you mean about Stubhub being shady. I got front row seats to Lindsey in October off ticketmaster but the seats of the two beside us are on Stubhub for $400.00 or something (I paid $65...eek!)

I think I'll just give up and hope against hope for western us dates.

I'd used StubHub for the NYC Webster show,I'had no problem getting a refund of the canceled show.they were prompt getting the tickets to me and the refund was quick too.I happen to check Ebay a couple of minutes ago.On some of them .Have a big wallet.

Re Stubhub; don't forget most of the seats closest to the stage cost approx. $200. A scalper looks to reap 2X or 3X his/her investment. This tour is an EPIC FAILURE in regards to # of tickets sold, but not $$$ volume. Case in point-PNC NJ. Only 3000 out of the 6000 SEATS have been sold, but most of the ones sold are in the range of $150-$200, so Stevie's guarantee has more than likely been covered. The only people that are going to lose money are the scalpers holding seats that are not in the first few rows. The pricing made this tour about "how much of a fan are you?", based on how much you were willing to spend to sit near the stage.

And don't forget that Ticketmaster either IS, or is in cahoots with StubHub. The closer it gets to the show, the more desperate they will be to sell 'em, and put them back in the face value batch on Ticketmaster.

Besides being hotter than Hades in Houston in August, I agree with Eugene's point. They are probably not yet selling the lawn seats in order to fill the higher-priced reserved seat sections, and meet their guarantee. And why would Stevie, or any performer, want to see a bunch of empty seats and most everyone else on the lawn?
