OMG...I just woke up here on the right coast INSANELY jealous of missing what sounds like the interview of the decade! Figures the one night i don't have insomnia and wake up every hour.

So glad so many of you got to experience that as it unfolded. I hope and pray that we'll get that recorded sometime in like oh the next few hours.

Listening to it now, and I'm in heaven. She's talking about Wide Sargasso Sea! She never talks about Wide Sargasso Sea! Seriously, y'all, that is my song. And my book.

"When the drums stop, you should be worried- because the cannibals are coming!"

God she is hilarious. Going to have to resist the urge to give a running commentary as I'm listening.

Thanks Macmanforever!

This is a great interview -- happiest to know she'll be singing the new songs

[Gypsybecca]

So no one recorded the beginning of the show? Funny thing was, I was supposed to have been sleeping, but couldn't so I hit the sleep button on my clock radio which is always tuned to KLOS because I love Jim Ladd and he plays Stevie songs so often. You can imagine my surprise when I heard her voice! But it was about 20 minutes into the interview.

I have sent some messages to people I think may have heard the show. If any of them did and recorded, I will post it.

And yes, I called out sick because I was up all night posting and laughing!
