It had better friggin' be Dallas after cancelling the other date. Heh.

Seriously, I'm glad he's adding more and I hope there are more Texas dates.

I totally second this. For your sake and because I have life-long friends there and would like to visit;-) Plus, I love Rhode Island.

Second leg, yay! Although, he could wait a month or two so I can gather together the spare change from under the cushions of everyone I know

Seconded... I'd wanted to try and go to this tour in the US but didn't get in gear soon enough. Now I'm not sure I can go because I'll be starting a PhD around the time and can't exactly take a week or two off in the first month...

He'd better not come to England/Europe now that I've gone to all the expense of a California show!!!!!

Just kidding, of course I want him to come to England/Ireland/Scotland/Europe for everyone who can't get over to the States.

I'd just see him again when I got back from the USA!

I'd love this too but we'd be lucky. He's just like Stevie for forgetting he has fans outwith the US. Boo!

I don't think he forgets. I think he'd lose a ton of money. He doesn't have a massive solo audience in the US, I can't imagine (on paper, at least) he'd have more in Europe. Now, being an ornery old soul, I would try one or two dates, just to see if European audiences would show up faster than US audiences. Wouldn't be as much of a loss as a full tour and he might be pleasantly surprised.

I've said it before but all those FM fans who scream for Lindsey and trample over everyone in their way to get to him on stage, are not willing to shell out 1/4 of FM prices to see him solo. Either that, or they still don't know his name.

It's a shame.

id love it if he showed up with stevie in australia in december

I’m a long-time lurker and new member here. I live in Salina, Kansas, and I’m asking the devoted Lindsey fans to consider coming to his Saturday 11/12 show here. I saw Lindsey 3 times on his last 2 tours – Kansas City 2x and Denver (that was an 8 hour drive!) My husband and I were just discussing how much fun we had and wishing he would come as close as Kansas City, when I opened my local paper to see him booked at our own Stiefel Theatre! I am still in shock.

The theatre seats 1,287 people and is very intimate. There aren’t any bad seats in the house. When I was a kid, it was used as a movie theatre. In the last few years I’ve seen some big acts sell out (Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Martin) and some others not (Kenny Loggins, John Corbett). Salina is a SMALL town of less than 50,000 people, so unless the performer if big enough to draw from surrounding areas like Wichita (90 miles away), some concerts don’t sell out. Local business people heavily subsidize the cost of shows and literally get 5 minute recognitions by the theatre director before the show starts.

I hope there’s a great crowd for Lindsey, but that’s why I’m appealing to the Ledgies here to consider coming to this show. Salina is at the crossroads of Interstates I-135 and I-70, and we also have an airport with service from KC. We have several nice hotels and restaurants. No, I don’t work for the Chamber of Commerce or the theatre. I have just gotten great info from The Ledge over the years and want to contribute (finally) and hopefully bring some real Lindsey fans to the show.

Great sales pitch!

And lucky you, having seen LB 3 times - hope you enjoy this upcoming show as well!

Hope you've done enough to tempt people there from further afield - if I could be there, I would be!

Welcome to The Ledge - hope you stay and have fun.
