Every musician looked so into it. Sharon and Lori looked and sounded good also.
Yep spot on

Stevie Nicks took time away from the heartache on Wednesday during America’s Got Talent. The legendary performer took the stage on the results show to share her musical talent for everyone who was watching the results of the third week of the quarterfinals. Nicks performed on AGT, but the talented entertainer is taking one of the America’s Got Talent acts on Stage too. The entertainer will be touring with Michael Grimm when she hits the road August 9.

While the 12 acts were learning their fate, the AGT audience got the chance to really see how hard work and incredible talent could achieve absolute success watching this superstar. Stevie Nicks, who has been on the music scene for decades, is one of the most inspiring entertainers in the business. Nicks’ solo career, along with her work with Fleetwood Mac have sold over 140 million albums to date. Known around the world, the award winning artist has a voice that is extraordinarily distinctive.

While Stevie was on stage, she wasn’t the only performer who raised the roof. Fighting Gravity, a fan favorite of last year also gave a rousing performance for the audience. Reminding us all why we fell in love with the college performers, there wasn’t any doubt it was a welcomed sights.

great performance, love how she didn't care about messing up her hair on Edge, she looked 28 again with that hair all in her face. Great idea having Michael Grimm tour with her, that should bring in a crowd, seeing as how popular he was on the show. Could end up being a great late summer for Stevie!

Gaga was on the stage next door. Half expected to see her in the hall but no go.
Not that I am complaining, it was just a random thing. Seeing Stevie made my day.
well you wouldn't have known it! I'm sure it was a challenge for her to sing such an edited verison of Edge after singing the full song for so many years but she was on her mark throughout the entire song. She seems to have achieved a renewed sense of confidence that we haven't in recent years. And I'm loving it!!

ya think? Carlos looked downright nervous at one point while glancing over at Stevie. Lori seems to have one expression these days...too much botox perhaps? I enjoyed the Sharon closeup.

I was only saddened by the fact that she didn't do Landlside. sigh

Just realized that I wrote 50th anniversary of Bella Donna instead of 30th ..gotta lovelate night posting that is being fueled on Stevie Nicks adrenaline.

Ugh I'm still in awe of her performances!!! She completely blew me away. I still have energy from watching those performances...just incredible. She also did look younger last night and seemed to be more carefree and spontaneous than usual which is AWESOME !! For the second time: congrats Stevie!!!

The first three acts were Summerwind Skippers, Purrfect Angelz and Ian Johnson. When Cannon announced that none of them progressed forward, Morgan admitted he was surprised by the failure of the Skippers to draw votes. Nevertheless, frowns turned upside down pretty quickly as Cannon introduced Stevie Nicks, who performed a song from her new album “In Your Dreams.” Truth be told, she could probably teach the singing acts a thing or two about stage presence and live performance, but it really just seemed as if she appeared in order to expand the show’s running time to an hour.

With three of four spots announced, Cannon introduced Fighting Gravity, a finalist from last season. After they performed, Stevie Nicks came out for a second number, this time a rendition of her classic hit “Edge of Seventeen.” Both interludes offered a welcome distraction from the suspense of who would be the last finalist to be announced.

The full article and a cute pic are at the link - I just pasted the Stevie parts. Guess the writer wasn't paying attention when she was asked about the upcoming tour and Michael Grimm - she was not only on the show to expand the running time...

Stevie Nicks rasps through 'Edge of Seventeen' on 'America's Got Talent': Watch it here
by Jeff Labrecque
Categories: Divas!, Rock, Stevie Nicks, Television, Things That Bum Us Out

Stevie Nicks is having a pretty big week.

That episode of South Park that sets its closing montage to Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” was on again last night, and she hit the stage with the men of Maroon 5 for a run through of “Leather and Lace” on Monday. Then she made another live appearance on Wednesday, strolling out onto the America’s Got Talent set and plowing through her undisputed classic “Edge of Seventeen.”

Since America’s Got Talent has been doing crazy ratings numbers, you probably went ahead and watched this live. But just in case you didn’t, feast your eyes on Stevie and her witchcraft after the jump:

Nicks starts out pretty strong, and the crowd certainly seems into it (mostly because “Edge of Seventeen” is a fantastically intense song with a killer hook), but there are an awful lot of missed notes in there. Though she looks great and performs with confidence, she’s pretty much blown off the stage by her back-up singers.

While a little bit of rasp is usually good for a song as cutting as “Edge of Seventeen,” Nicks sounds like she’s been smoking two packs of Camels simultaneously through the exhaust pipe of a Lincoln Continental. And let’s face it, that’s too much rasp.

But what do you think? Should we cut Stevie some slack because she’s a bona fide legend, or should she stick to making cameos in videos starring Beyoncé? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
