who do we suppose has made the most money over the past 30-some odd years?
Mick John Christine Lindsey Stevie I'm thinking Stevie, but I wouldn't be surprised by Mick. |

I'd say Lindsey. At least when it comes to who still HAS the most money. Mick & Stevie put theirs up their noses (and other reputed orifices); John & Christine drank theirs (with Christine also dabbling in the naughty powder there for awhile herself). Lindsey seemed to be more fiscally conservative (and having less expensive vices) than the rest.

I believe Stevie told Rolling Stone in 1997 that Lindsey is the most financially stable of the group, because he didn't spend as excessively as she and the others did.
Overall, she probably MADE more money, but she spent what she made.

I agree, I think Stevie made the most because she has more albums and tours on her name, but Lindsey has the most. Though, with all those producer credits, isn't he likely to get paid more than the rest also?

I dont think there's any doubt Mick spent the most money.

Interesting thread!
No ideas of my own to offer, good points about who spent what and so on.... Anything to mention about Lindsey's house that he was building during the making of SYW? Does that affect this? |

I think it would be Stevie, but I think Christine would be next in line. You have to remember....Its her songs that are still getting played on the radio. I can't tell you how many times I've heard You Make lovin Fun, Don't Stop, Little Lies, or Say You Love Me.

Not sure about paid more. The producer gets paid first.

but the production royalties are in addition to writing/performing royalties, right? so he would be making more?
