I remembered that too. So, I'm thinking that must mean Stevie does have an iPad!

This. It's been worth every second we've waited! It's full of surprises. It covers so much ground but still hangs together so well and feels so complete.

As someone already noted, it feels authentically Stevie. I don't feel like we're getting Stevie filtered through Dave Stewart (there was too much Sheryl Crow on TISL) -- it really feels like this is the record Stevie wanted to make, and her mark is on every track at every level.

Wide Sargasso Sea is the instant standout track for me. It has an incredible Smile At You energy to it -- sassy and fierce and angry and sexy!

I'm so glad we can share this experience together!

After hearing it all the way through once, my favorites are Italian Summer and You May Be The One. I won't listen to it again until I get my copy in the mail. I'll see if my opinion changes any after I get more familiar with it.

How many artists from her generation could produce something this vital and compelling today that could rank with anything from their heyday? It was not worth the 10 year wait It was worth the 30 year wait.

Still can't get over how beautiful this is!!! My 1 hour shift at the desk at work seemed like the longest EVER, and I was still listening to FM related music while there!!!

Any word on if we can download this or anything?

Bella Donna will always be her best album, for me. RAL is my 2nd favorite, and I think IYD will wind up right alongside it.

At first I didn't like the idea of Stevie making an album with Dave Stewart. I believed those two could never mix well. I also had doubts if she could pull this out vocally. After I watched the sizzle reel I knew that something big was about to happen, but now that I've heard the complete album several times i can only say

THIS IS THE BEST STEVIE NICKS SOLO ALBUM EVER!

This is by far the most mature and coherent album she has ever done. I love the craziness and ethereal feel of BD and WH, the atmosphere of the songs on TISL, but this album is so much more. It's a grown up Stevie album. Absolutely everything on this album is on the right place. My favorites for now are:

Wide Sargasso Sea - Sexy, nonchalant, CRAZY!

Moonlight - Perfect production, one of those songs that make you feel in love even when you are not.

Annabel Lee - I HATED the demo, and now it's one of my faves ob the album. I don't know why, but I feel like dancing whenever I hear it

Ghosts Are Gone - A great, great rocker. I hope she does this live.

Soldiers Angel - I know many of you don't like it, but I do. It's such a dark song, and I think I finally know why she does the ipod thing, and how she really feels about it.

Italian Summer - I didn't like the snippet from the sizzle reel, but now I simply love it. Melancholic and beautiful. People should feel like this when they fall in love.

And I still don't like Secret Love and Cheaper Than Free.

I don't think anything will ever top Bella Donna for me, but at the moment, this is definitely in the number 2 spot, in terms of loving all of the songs and the album as a whole. It's pretty incredible.

I'm still not connecting with WSS like all of you seem to be - I like it, but I'm just not FEELING it, if you know what I mean? Maybe it will click soon!

I, too, LOVE Soldier's Angel. It's haunting, it's eerie, and Stevie was right, it's totally Buckingham Nicks. And yet, somehow it still fits with the overall sound and atmosphere of the album. Just wonderful. This is a gem to me.

In Your Dreams is my current favorite I think - it's just so darn catchy! Reminds me a bit of Think About It or I Don't Want To Know, for whatever reason... and I just LOVE the throwback to Bella Donna with the "Come in out of the darkness, it's a beautiful day" part.

I, like most everyone, also really love For What It's Worth. It's definitely also another catchy song, and I'm partial to Stevie and stripped down instrumentals. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful melody, beautiful guitar.

Ghosts Are Gone is SO ROCKING. Fun, and in your face. Also, again, loving the reappearance of that darn ghosts through a fog line! This makes it the third song?

I really dig the bluesyness of You May Be The One.

I wasn't expecting the like synth intro to Everybody Loves You, but I like it I also think the verses are really awesome but I'm not a huge fan of the chorus really. Also these lyrics: "Don't come here again
Unless fear of fire leaves you cold
And the cold leaves you tired
If you fear at all"
I don't have a clue what they mean but I LOVE THEM.

obviously there are more tracks but I'm getting a little winded here so I'll have to talk about them some other time. I just can't get over this album, I really can't. I'm officially buying a copy for every person I know.

Also want to add that I love all the beach/ocean lyrics. Definitely reflective of her condo I think.

So this is likely Nicks' best solo album ever. She says that Buckingham's upcoming solo album is his best ever. As she says "I wish he would have saved those songs for the next Fleetwood Mac album" which I think he could say about her songs on this record! lol

Does this bode well for a new Fleetwood Mac album if there is one? They both certainly seem on a real creative roll here.

I still think without Christine, it's really just a BN album. I think this new solo CD outshines the last Mac album by far.
