HejiraNYC's name is Ed? That's the first I'm hearing of this. Slightly off-topic (the Adderall has worn off, sorry), but I wish I could change my username. I'm terrible at picking them, so I came up with markolas and used it for everything for a long time. I hate it now, and I think this is the only place it's still in use.

So, we're talking about sex drives now? I think mine peaked between ages 18-20. The bf's is definitely higher than mine (and he's two years older). I'm good with 3 times a week (and that includes solo)...maybe 4, but just maybe.

I've only been with a handful of guys...I've never had the stamina for it (I was a virgin well into my 20s) and hooking up has always been more trouble than it's worth. That's one of the reasons being in a relationship is good for me - each knows what the other likes, and I don't have to be bothered with a bunch of other people.

I seriously don't understand people who say they've banged 100 guys, or some insane number like that. Assuming they're telling the truth...are they hooking up with guys on the way back from the grocery store once a week? Where do they find the time, energy, and interest for that much sex?

I find it baffling how people can do something like that in between errands or at the spur of the moment. I mean, unless you're a total nasty pig, you kinda have to, uh, prepare for these things, no?

Me too. I hate my Ledge name, and wish I could change it.
When I joined, I was simply on a big Simpsons binge, and Christine's my favorite, so that's how happened.

I had friends back in the day who would hook up multiple times a week and sometimes even multiple times a DAY with guys they'd meet online (think gay.com, adam4adam, manhunt, et al). I only did the online hookup thing a couple of times... I found it to be extraordinarily oogie. Mostly because it's just awkward, and also because nobody EVER looks like the pics they post online . Plus, random sex just isn't for me. I've had plenty of sexual partners, but I've also gotten to know them all firsthand... and almost always remain friends with them afterwards.

I never was or wanted to be promiscuous. I'm too careful a person to go acting all wild and free. I'd rather save that for someone I feel I know and am interested in.

I've had a f*ckbuddy or two, which is great. Random hook-ups are creepy, tho.

Multiple times a DAY? Even when I was 19, I was only good for one orgasm a day. That seems exceedingly tiring, but then, I'm very low-energy in general.
