The musicians on Stevie's record that are confirmed are Waddy, Mike C, Steve Ferrone, Mick Fleetwood, Ricky Peterson, Lindsey B. along with Dave S. and probably violinist Anne Marie Calhoun. Stevie also enlisted Chris Lord-Alge to preside over the final mixing, not so subtly pushing aside Dave who mixed his own cd. Stevie is very much calling some shots and injecting her choice of musicians and trusted colleagues where she see's fit.
David Wild has written the songs are atmospheric. So If Dave understands Stevie as much as I think he does, he will set an ambience and mood that will enhance the Stevieness of the recordings. I'm quite intrigued with the possible outcomes that this collaboration represents as Dave Stewart is a very versatile and apt producer. I loved the work he did on the last great Sinead O' Connor record "Faith and Courage" or some of the songs on the last Eurythmics record such as "Beautiful Child" or I Saved The World Today". If some of these elements are on tap this will be a very magical record provided that Stevie also stepped up her game on the lyrical and singing aspects.

Thank you for your insight. You've given me some much needed renewed hope for this album and that it won't be too much in the same vein of The Blackbird Diaries which is my biggest fear.
