Oh my God, yes! I keep telling people that Stevie's TRUE genius as a vocalist is her phrasing. It's just so instinctive and utterly her own. I LOVE that pause, it almost breaks my heart sometimes to hear it, it's so beautiful.

My five would be (in no order and excluding FM):

Blue Water (remastered)
Rock A Little
The Dealer
Angel (live)
Sorceror (from TISL)

this was hard and I'll probably change my mind in ten minutes but as it stands now, here they are...

1. China Doll
2. Gypsy
3. All the Beautiful Worlds
4. Mirror Mirror
5. I Sing for the Things

Ok; this is almost impossible for me, but...if I had to go like, right now, I'd pick:

1. Christian (Spinning Wheels)
2. Beauty and the Beast (From Red Rocks)
3. Wild Heart
4. The Nightmare (Extended Remix)
5. Nightbird (Live from Solid Gold)

Rhiannon
Landslide - either of the Soundstage versions
How Still My Love - Soundstage
Planets Of The Universe - extended version
Probably the song from Stevie's upcoming new album that is supposed to be one her best songs ever.

Wild Heart - album version
Bella Donna - album version
Christian (Spinning Wheels)
Julia - "Take 5" version
Gold Dust Woman - The Dance

The first 3 are for sure... 4 and 5 are subject to change. But if I were to depart to said island tomorrow, this is what I would pick

Edit: It's only been 2 mins and I ALREADY changed it!

I'm kind of baffled at Blue Water being on 3 people's top 5 Stevie songs ever. This is nearly impossible but I'll try:

Rhiannon
Sisters of the Moon
Long Distance Winner
Gold Dust Woman
Edge of 17

4. Rhiannon (any good old live version will do)
5. Kind of Woman
This one? Love.

My top five would look something like this:
1. Fireflies
2. Rhiannon (Japan '78)
3. the aforementioned GDW
4. Angel from the Tusk doc
5. Silver Springs old piano demo from god knows when.

If I could add Blue Water and make it an even six, I would. But since I could not live without #4 in my life, BW has to pick up the pieces and go home. Honorable mention goes to BATB from the Wild Heart tour. oh, and Sister Honey.
