Not that it´s any of my business, just wondered...
On classic albums.Lindsey said "Christine´s background was in the blues, mine wasn´t.." What is Lindsey´s musical background? On Buckingham Nicks album Stevie is named Stevi, When was e added or was it just a misspelling? Does/did Stevie smoke? On Tango in the night video, stevie´s holding what looks like to be a cigarette in her hand(Though it doesn´t seem to be alight) Later she´s seen sipping a drink with a straw,is that what she´s holding? When Buckingham Nicks joined Fleetwood mac they were in the middle of making another record. Did they have a recording contract that had to be bought out for them to be able join FM? What is the first song written by Christine to be published? Did any of her songs make it to Chicken shack records or are the songs on Christine Perfect first example? What about on Fleetwood mac,are there any on Kiln house? On the cover of Live (-80)Lindsey and Stevie are with their backs to the audience,is it made out of two photos? Has Lindsey toured solo before last year? Did Christine ever do solo gigs or even live performances on tv? What about John, did he do gigs with Lola Thomas? Is the Fleetwood mac rock´n´roll hall of fame induction on you tube? I couldn´t find it,there´s plenty of others? What did they perform there? The only release on Immediate label was Man of the world single, why? They were well succesful, surely they would´ve been offered longer contract, or was it already known Immediate was in financial trouble? Or was there already existing contract with Reprise? I know i should mind my own business, but you know sometimes, curiosity just takes the better of us.... ![]() |

She didn't write any songs on Kiln House. She only contributed electric piano & backing vocals. She also drew the album cover. Chris did a brief solo tour to promote her solo album in 1984. I don't think she did any live TV, but she did appear on Solid Gold & American Bandstand. Those performances were lipsynched though, not live. |

I'll take a stab at some of these, and some of the more knowledgable ledgies can come in and add more details or whatever.

I'll let the Christine people answer the Christine question... she did have tv performances that I seem to recall. And also, the Christine McVie video album! I don't know about John and Lola. I don't think so, but I've never read anything about it one way or the other. I think it would have been mentioned somewhere along the line if it'd happened. Quote:

Eddie Ponder says that he and Lindsey were walking down the street to get a Foster's drink when Lindsey said he got a call from Fleetwood Mac and was thinking about joining the band. Eddie was shocked, cursed and asked Lindsey if he was crazy. He told Lindsey he had a great life, was making $450 a week and got to hang out with celebrities. Why, oh why would he want to join Fleetwood Mac! I was not previously aware that Lindsey's work on the road had continued right up to the time he got Fleetwood Mac's phone call. I thought they were flat broke too. So, I'm not sure whom to believe on that. Eddie or Stevie? I will say that when Stevie was in Europe a couple of years ago and said she moved out of the apartment with Lindsey and then had to swallow her pride and ask to come back, I was shocked. She had always maintained that she paid the rent on that apartment. So, she leaves and Lindsey keeps up the apartment and she is the one who ends up homeless? It tells me that Lindsey did have an income, independent of Stevie's waitressing and housecleaning. He and Richard couldn't have been just bouncing the rent check for months on end. If you ask me, them joining Fleetwood Mac had less to do with the lack of money and more to do with getting nowhere in the music business and Lindsey being out doing what he wanted to do while Stevie was at home doing, well, nothing. According to them, Stevie was the one that made the choice to join, Lindsey would just as rather have continued with Buckingham Nicks. |

And, I hope that answers your questions.

Can you source this?
I'd like to see the two photographs individually... any idea if they're floating around?
