yeah I'm sorry people took it that way. Again, its really me sort of thinking out loud. Maybe more me talking to myself even. I tend to have to backpedal and then explain myself and it turns into this big thing. Meh.

I know. that has always been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. animal rights/cruelty/protection for me=serious biz. And I understand totally. It's really hard, but i try to get in about the same as you. if i do it once or twice a month, i'm fulfilled.

meh, meh. I wasn't trying to turn it into a big thing. I was just pointing out why everyone else was upset, but also talking about my own personal opinion on it. I really wasn't jumping your case, so

No joke, dude. No joke.

Some people would think that little online spats are funny and entertaining. I just find their deliberate creation to be quite sad. It's very small minded, especially to bring someone's orientation into the mix.

I won't judge you. I used to be too!

You better stay on that side of the room though. You might catch some queer cooties.

you know, I've sympathized with your plight (in principle) from the beginning (even tho I abhor your abortion statement). I know firsthand exactly what you're talking about re: the dogpile mentality on this site. You make an unpopular statement and you might as well build yourself a bomb shelter because you will get slammed by the pack mentality.

This aint National Geographic and we dont need to see a wolfpack in action thank you very much.

I may not have agreed with Brandon's statement, but I dont agree with Sarah either that babies shouldnt be allowed to grow up to be adults because adults suck......of course, she DID say that Stout mellowed her attitude somewhat (please tell me how your constant drinking references protect you from the "drunk" moniker)

I DO agree with Amber that we have too many people to support now, and that indiscriminate procreation is irresponsible. That said, however, not every baby born is an unwanted baby (or an unprovided-for baby). My personal opinion is that the CHOICE to have a baby belongs to the parents involved, not the STATE or the FUNDIE PROPAGANDA JUGGERNAUT.

ok. carry on.

because, ya know, i was totally serious about everything, including eating babies. honestly, right now, i just can't roll my eyes hard enough.

"constant drinking references" ? the fact that in random chats we've discussed beers and what not makes me have "constant drinking references"?

con-stant adj. -
1. not changing or varying; uniform; regular; invariable: All conditions during the three experiments were constant.
2. continuing without pause or letup; unceasing: constant noise.
3. regularly recurrent; continual; persistent: He found it impossible to work with constant interruption.

yes, i definitely do talk about beer in every thread and every post. kind of like you and your crybabying over cliques, huh?

well....now that you've gotten that imaginary baybeh out of your teeth...

please tell me how you mangaged to avoid being called a drunk?

As for "constant", by that I mean, far more than what I'VE made, but yet, Ive been labeled a drunk whereas you, by virtue of your membership in the Les be Friends club have managed to be applauded for your excesses

perhaps I need to rethink my affiliation?

or not...because I would rather eat dog **** than be a sheep. Congrats my dear on your lack of moral fiber.

You are the first person to insinuate that I am a drunk. Other than myself, when I openly acknowledged - at least twice that I can remember - that I have had drug and alcohol abuse problems and have significantly cleaned up my act minus a beer or two and a joint. I don't know anything about your drinking habits, other than that fact that I read it when Rickypt called you a drunk. I've not seen anyone else say it.

I don't know anything about a Les be Friends club. I don't know anyone's orientation here, except for Carrie's. Although I did see Deanna mention something about a "partner" earlier, so I assumed, but that's neither here nor there. There is no club to speak of. It's not a band of dykes. My sexual orientation has almost nothing.. NOTHING.. to do with any aspect of my life other than my involvement with my partner. I have to admit I am slightly annoyed at your insinuation that I choose my friends on the Ledge based on the way that they swing. I don't really know anyone's orientation and I'm not that superficial. I chit chat with and befriend the individuals who make me laugh.

Oh, and nice way to edit your post to get in a cheap "sheep" shot, Miss Morality. I'm not a ****ing sheep and you should think twice before you start ****talking me. Perhaps we should invite you into the club so that you will, in fact, actually go eat dog ****. That is a hell of a good idea that you had. I support it.

well, well! how does it FEEL?????? did you ask yourself "why is...calling her a drunk?" when that infamous thread reared its ugly head????? NO?????? why am I not surprised??? because you are now firmly ensconsed in the bosom of pack mentality (of one form or another) and therefore have absolved yourself of the need to examine your LACK OF OBJECTIVITY. Congrats. and of course you are innocent of all charges. of course.

by the way and PS: in CAPITAL letters: I wouldnt join your freakin losers club if it meant surviving the apocalpyse. Loser + Loser still = losers. Not a group I'd want to be a part of whether you swung left OR right.

ps: I didnt hit a NERVE did I??????

IT WAS PLAINLY OBVIOUS WHY HE CALLED YOU A DRUNK. He took a cheap shot at you after you practically spit in his face about his depression problems! I didn't take it as, "ohhhh that Irish downs 3 or 4 bottles a day and he threw it in her face, how rotten". I took it as, "ohh hell, that's some nasty fighting going on." I didn't know - and DON'T KNOW - if it was rooted in fact or not.

There's no pack mentality going on with me right now. I have been objective with you. We've agreed a couple of times and we've disagreed a couple of times. But now, because I'm not standing beside you crying, "wahhh they're ganging up on soandso", you've lost YOUR ability to be objective, and that causes me to pass judgement on your posts.

There are instances of groups of people backing each other up - on whatever side - on random things. But if you'll put it into perspective, there's no Ledge war here, so there aren't any sides for me to take. There's nothing to win, and nothing to fight over. Really, it's just everybody chatting over random stuff, in agreement or not, and then you come along with your little schtick of namecalling. You're clearly instigating in almost every thread these days, and it's just freakin old. If you're so clever that you don't dare sink to the level of "us sheep", why don't you think of some new phrases to use, instead of beating the same drum every.damn.post?

Or better yet, why don't you just ignore everyone you don't like and only associate with those who you do? Why do you have to invent an issue? That's rhetorical. I would venture to guess that it's just fun for you to rile people up and to stir the pot a bit because you're bored. I guess that's okay.. every board has someone exactly like you. If you left, someone else would just come along and do it.

I feel really lame and dirty for even participating in this back and forth with you. It's pointless. You'll just respond with some sort of weak bitchslap that doesn't have any content of value whatsoever.
