It is just two McVie's shy of being a Fleetwood Mac song. I just can't understand why they couldn't get at least John to play on this song. Was he that busy at the time? What was he doing... counting his Time royalties? If anything, I think this song set a precedent for Say You Will with its guitar-heavy, modern sound. It showed that, even without Christine, they could carry on, albeit, with a radically different sound.

twisted demo - not so great.
soundtrack version of twister - really great.

the addition of lindsey makes the song for me. he takes it to a different level.. and honestly, it's just good to hear their voices blend the way they're supposed to.

I agree! Even though the Enchanted version is pretty popular, Lindsey brings the whole lot to life.

Twisted is BRILLIANT! it was also avalable on the best buy tour cd for the dance. although the demo is not as enjoyable as the Buckingham/Nicks version from twister, Stevie sang this well and did a good version of it live for the enchanted tour. Id LOVE to hear her and Buckingham sing this live. WOW.

So basically all of this is saying that-
to get the good version we have to buy the whole 'Twister' soundtrack

I don't have either that or Enchanted [I would have it if I had money... ]
I do have a live version of it though, and I like it there, just the sound quality is not what I had hoped

I think her vocals at the end of Twisted (soundtrack version) are some of her best. gives me chills when she sings. "I think you are the demon"

"Twisted" is far from being the best song on the soundtrack.

There are times when I like twisted, and others when I think it drags, but as a whole, I would have to say it's pretty rad.

Great first line! lol! And so true, as well as your other comments. I couldn't agree more with your assesment/speculation.

I think Twisted is a very cool hybrid song. Stevie first performed it back 1996 (?) at an outdoor free show in Boston (so I think). And she included it in the Enchanted tour set. It would have been nice if Fleetwood Mac performed it on the Say You Will tour. Oh well.
