I think that's interpretation rather than actual Buddhist teaching. Which is fine. But I think, and Nichiren Shonin especially taught, that rather than trying to rigidly follow a code of moral conduct, a better approach is to allow the spirit of the precepts to be embodied naturally through the deepening of one's faith.

Anyway. I don't think I've ever posted this much Buddhist stuff on here. I'm sure everyone is enthralled.

It's whatever you're most comfortable with. I was actually just starting to really explore this more casual attitude toward sexuality when I got into this relationship. You have to be careful, though, and make sure both people are on the same page; otherwise, things can get nasty. Moreso with women, I think.

It really depends, but if its someone I see a real relationship potential then I wait...I'm not one to rush sex at. all.

If it someone I'm attracted to but know it's not really going to go anywhere, I have some fun...

It's all moot thought seeing as I haven't met anyone I'm even remotely attracted to in a looong time.

I waited 2 years, I seen serious potential in that girl when we first met, we were together for 3 years (It ended the Spring before I met Debbie).

Awww...I love it when guys are willing to wait...2 years is long...personal choice, or a mix of your choice and hers? And the real question is did you wait with the woman you're now married to

to wait. I have to different than other guys, just a quirk in my personality (Kinda obvious aint it?). I thought Christy was the person I would spend my life with, but we know the outcome with her don't we?

I know this may be TMI, but I made it up to Christy with a 10+ hour hump fest (I had to get up and leave for Tech School - Not a good thing to have ended ones carnal fun )

As for Deb, uh, well....She helped get me ****faced and I was all hers for the effort & takin', romantic aint it?

I agree!!!!! My fiancee and I knew we were in love before we even told each other. We worked together and things just started with laughing at company functions, talking at staff meetings... I just knew I loved him, he was wonderful on the eyes and so kind...and I felt in my soul he loved me....after about a month of flirting, I couldn't take it anymore, (keeping it to myself that I loved him) I had to tell him. When I did he said he loved me too. Christ, I felt an adrenaline rush and I had a rash on my chest. It was like a frickin Supernova the first time we kissed, and after a glass of wine, we made love, not just sex. Eight wonderful years and a beautiful life later, here we are engaged.

Okay though, in college I did have a few one-night stands, but I have always been a very deeply sensitive person who didn't f*kc around casually. Always loved very deeply and intensely. I'm just not a casual person I guess when it comes to sex. But I love hittng it with my Sweetie, I think I'm a perv, wait, I am a perv....oh ya!
