Oh, that's right, I forgot about my special handicap. Guess I really am amberdextrous.
Anyway, I can't move my hands separate from each other. I mean, they can't really do two different things at one time. I mean, shooting a basket or pool is two hands directed at one motion.

And then if I tried to get my legs involved doing even more things...well, I have no doubt disaster would ensue. Swear to god, that's why I had to quit band in highschool. Because you had to march, and I couldn't play and march. It's quite extroadinary considering my otherwise very high level of coordination. I'm like an idiot savant. Or just an idiot. Whatever, you should see me try to drum. Tragic. Actually me even trying to do the Gold n Braid dance is tragic.
That guy reminded me, I can use chopsticks left, too.

So you can throw & catch a ball, and I can do the Gold & Braid dance. Looks like we're even as far as coordination goes.

Lets not get carried away. I'm good at several entire sports. Not just the catching or throwing part.

I think I'll practice that dance. I mean, every good red blooded American Stevie fan should know how to do it, right?

I'm great with drums/percussion...guitar? Not so much - it's proving difficult for me to coordinate right and left and such...it's pissing me off actually.

it's definitely hard to learn a stringed instrument. it's difficult to get one hand to do melody and the other to do rhythm. when i was younger, with violin i would concentrate on getting the rhythms down with my right hand before adding the left hand, and now i do that with guitar, too.

I'm right handed but when I was in college, one of my drawing professors wanted to challenge me and had me do an in-class assignment with my left hand. I did very well and really liked the difference in my drawing style using my left hand.

Hmm...I'm mostly having trouble with the whole changing chords thing. Can't seem to do it in any sort of timely manner. Of course I'm also expecting to be great in like the space of an hour - a recipe for furstration...

I'm trying to take it slower now. And I'm looking for some drums to buy as my left hand becomes weaker and weaker the longer I don't play.

oh, chord changes. yeah. i practice those with a metronome, and first i set it to something really low, like 50 BPM or something. and i'll do C, C, G, G (or whatever chords you're practicing) with one chord per beat. and once i get it down at 50, i'll increase it just a little bit, to 54, then 58, etc etc. you don't need a metronome to do it, it's actually a lie to say i use mine, because it doesn't even have batteries right now. but i start out slowly, making sure i can do it at a steady beat before speeding up at all.

I have a metronome...I think I'll try that. Though I'm still trying to master chords themselves I'm seriously jumping the gun in trying to change chords and in turn play songs
