My cat Vinnie just died

I'm sorry about Vinnie! I know how hard it must be for you! I had to put my cat Watson down back in September. She had kidney failure. I was there with her when they put her down, and it was the second worst thing I've ever had to do. My heart goes out to you. Hopefully all of the pets us ledgies have lost recently are waiting for us somewhere.

Here is a pic. I took of Watson in '05. She's enjoying the kitty hammock I got her that Christmas.

I am so sorry for your loss, Amber. I am glad you found a place to get the private cremation at an affordable rate. I adore my cat...he is rolling on the keyboard as I try to type this....so I understand what you are going through. I am glad he is not suffering anymore..poor thing.

I was actually just thinking of getting this kitty hammock I saw in a catalogue. Spanky doesn't like to be on the floor where the other cat can walk by him ...
Watson was young, too, I'm sorry you had to put her down. Vinnie was only 7.
Wouldn't that be great if they were waiting for us, all the pets? Talk about heaven!

Well, Watson would have been 11 this January! She was just a petite little thing and that made her look like a kitten. At first she wouldn't go in the hammock, but then she loved it, untill... she was rolling on her back on it and it fell right off the window! She wasn't hurt, but it scared the cat poo out of her! It took her a while to go back in it. I would pick her up and put her in, and she would give me a look like, "Yeah, I don't think so" and jump right down. I think Spanky would love one.

Oh, I was under the impression she was a kitten in the pic you showed. No, 10 is a nice old age for a cat.
hehehehe. The hammock I want to get Spanky sits on the ground, should be pretty safe.

I just dropped a wad on my other cat at the vet, and he stayed the night, but I have him back now with some medicine. He has appts. for bloodwork and Xrays late next month. It is making me feel better to take care of him.
