THe photos are great, but this has never been my favorite Stevie period. She looks like she's just had her nails done in the first photo, and she's holding her hands carefully so as not to ruin them as they dry. Been there (not with fake nails - hate them) done that.


I love the early Stevie - natural, with hippy hair, clothes and jewlery. The 80's ruined that Stevie. Thankfully, we have an older, wiser Stevie that has dropped the Joan Collins look.

I absolutely love her hair in this photo, but I hated it throughout every tour in the 80s. This is her eighties hair in it's perfection. The only drawback about this hairdo was it seemed to me the only people who could emulate it well were PORN actresses. It's really awful to skim through the aisle of my porn stores and identify the hair as a former Stevie do. Really cheapens the look a whole lot.
