Forget the fabulousity - this IS the fabulousness!

I love this picture to death. Okay, there's no way the nails are real, but it's still awesome. I love her hair, the makeup, the eyes, the bustier, the awesome fringes on the GDW shawl, the little tiny crescent moon earrings, the whole "i'm a sexy pouty princess who'll kick your ass if you **** with my people!" attitude. I even dig the pink chiffon skirt. This picture gives me the total panty-panty pitty-pats.

Did I mention I love it?

She looks hot, no doubt, but the fringe on that shawl has always bugged me. It reminds me of this hanging plant my parents had in their bedroom years and years ago.... And still have today, actually! It's suspended by this fug, yellow ropey looking thing which is what this reminds me of. I'll see if I can find a picture of it.

It was probably at the height of the acrylic nail fad. Funny how she sometimes looks, in pictures, like she's displaying her manicure. :) Yah... this is one of my fav foto shoots too. Thanks for sharing the pic!

The nails??
Just proof to all that she is ....

(All she has to do is hold the mic...)

The nails are to threaten Lindsey with. Which is exactly what she did the second they were out of sight of the camera.
It was 87, Remember?!

GREAT shot. Thanks!

I love this pic, too. You can still see hints of 70's Stevie in her face. LOVE the ring!! She's gorgeous, as usual. I've always thought she has very long fingers for her hands, and you can kind of see that here.

my nails are that long. and natural.

and currently black... all my kids are asking if i'm a goth. nope, just like black!

and i do love this photograph. i hated almost everything that happened between 1985 and 1994, but this is definitely a keeper!

I used to keep my nails like that, too. Well, not THAT long, but pretty close. I like them long, but I trim them down every so often just to keep them strong.

yuck! not into the 80's/texas stevie look. to me it was the beginning of the downfall.

i like my stevie with less make-up, and big hair is never good. not even on stevie.

   Yes, she does look like she's gonna guest star on 'Dallas', huh?

And I agree. Her image from 87-92. :distress: Ugh, though I do see pictures now and then that I like.

Having come of age in the 80s, this is the Stevie I fell for. Her hair and makeup was what everyone was trying to emulate then.
