Just thought this might be interesting ... I don't write it per say, but I do write fiction inspired by them

I imagine much of it is in the same vein as Kirk/Spock fan fiction.

I do believe that the VH1 FM forum was shut down because of all the vulgar fan fics.

I know that there is a lot of Beatles fan fiction out there, but I have never heard of Fleetwood Mac Fan fiction. It might be something that you could start.

I used to write fan fic for soap opera characters (Simon & Katie from ATWT...I was a little obsessed) but writing about real people would be a little weird. I dunno...cuz they're real. That was an intelligent comment. Anyways...I could still probably get into it if anyone wanted to start something.

somebody clue me in.
i like to think of myself as a fairly well-read, well-traveled open minded urban liberal with my finger on the pulse of high quality music and art and literature but
.....i have never even heard of fan fiction.
what is it and why is it not allowed on these boards?
